Yesterday went for a 7.75 Mile/12.5K run. Went early since it got up to over 80ºF/27ºC.

Ending the training week on ‘chest day’ (My favorite muscle group to train).

40°. This is a ‘massive’ coffee roasting factory, where beans come direct out of the country/exported to here for roasting.

And let me tell you firsthand, the odor emanating from the roof exhaust port from this factory is tantalizing. If you like coffee, you can smell different flavors on different days when driving by, like French vanilla, hazelnut, dark roast, chocolate, etc.

I aimed for under 2 and didn't think I'd make it :D

AW3 for me. The GPS was pretty accurate. One incorrect point is where it came off the grey road, and there's a little section where it looks like I ran in a very small circle. But for this, it was close enough. :D

After a very adverse winter and spring being mixed, I can’t tell you how nice it is to have a 65° day with the sun out. It’s motivating to want to be outside, but time to go to smash arms. :D

Prism Avenue.

Went for an 8 mile run this morning and came back to this. At least they were respectful enough to leave a note. To add DOUBLE insult to injury:

) Took it yesterday to have trade in apprised for a Model 3 (was going to order today).
) Talked with management yesterday about cars driving too fast around the corners.

That's a bummer my friend:( - hope you can get this damage fixed up soon. At least the person that caused the damage left you their cell number. Good luck.

Off topic:

Let me tell you firsthand, in my line of work in L.E, it’s very, _very_ rare that someone would leave a note with their information telling you that they struck your car. At least it’s minor at most, but none the less, it also makes it easier for insurance companies not to assess any inflation on your insurance rates when you have the other drivers information.

[Oh, and I drove the Tesla 85D, A bit different from the Model 3, but truly was a different experience that was polarizing I thoroughly enjoyed.]

Did my first Half Marathon distance today. Absolutely broken! I under-estimated the task for sure. View attachment 831928 View attachment 831929

Dude, that heart rate was dangerous (unless you are younger than 20 years old), I hope you recovered ok.

Here are a couple of pics from a few weeks ago, on "Tlalpan's forest" a few miles from home. The weather was delicious.

Yeah recovered fine. My heart rate is always a good percentage above the normal population, even when resting. That’s within my normal exercising range.
