To say this mornings run through downtown was DIFFERENT is an understatement. First it was a stunningly beautiful day that followed a "strange" night without much sleep. So here are 2 sets of pics.

Went to LA Fitness this morning to start back weight training regularly. Did have to wait until 8 for them to open because of the unrest. Then went for a 6 mile run and went past Olympic Park (again). Last night was a lot of protestor constructed barracudas and a very messy mess. Thought for sure it would be inaccessible or blocked off this morning. Some how or another it is nearly pristinely clean just 10 hours later.

Yesterday and my 2ed trip to LA Fitness. Still surreal actually being in a gym. Then went for a run on another stunningly beautiful day and as usual drawn to Olympic Park were the world goes from surreal to surreal. Oddly have been stopped and stop to talk to more people than ever have before making my run slower. Seems people are so pent-up and just dying to make some human contact and sense of this strange, chaotic and unknown world we are in.

Centennial Olympic Park still blocked off but no more National Guard (or police presence) for the first time in a week (thank goodness).

so, this is Amazons new ‘logistic coordination facility center‘. It’s obviously not finalized in construction, but they (Amazon) been very secretive in terms of them announcing this new building in my region. As a matter fact, they won’t even return media outlet phone calls to confirm they are the ones building this new facility.
