Just installed beta 2 of 3.1.1. Immediately noticing an improved raise to wake feature. Seems faster and no delay when the screen is turning on. The amount of turn the wrist needs in order to light up the display seems reduced. Series 0 watch by the way. It's only a beta and things can of course slow down with the next one as we've seen before. I'm really impressed with the speed improvements since 3.1

How are false positives?
I set my watch to stay in the current app for 8 minutes, however I find that I trigger a false positive more often than 8 minutes, so the app actually stays frontmost much longer, usually until I notice and manually go back to the watch face.

Installed and noted same. Big usability improvement. Apps still don't open quite as fast as I'd like, but still much better than earlier versions of the OS.

I've never had a delay when raising my watch to a watchface, but when raising while the Music complication is open is definitely very slow and frustrating. Can you test if this been improved?

Use the modular watchface with Music as the larger middle complication, play a song on your iPhone, tap the complication to open it up. Leave it for a couple of minutes then raise again, this is where it's quite slow to actually activate the screen.

I just tested it on series 0 and it seems to work fine when I did what you instructed. No noticeable delay and I wouldn't say it was slow.

Also noticed the watch face changes almost instantly now if u update complications or set as watch face from the Watch app to the actual watch.
Battery screen looks different too. Transparency seems different on notifications too. I just got a twitter notification and it seemed bluer and less transparent.
Screen shots of battery screen and last weeks update on the control centre. i.e. No scrolling. Everything in in on screen on Series 0.

I'll bet the reduced transparency takes a big load off the processor. Probably one of many such tweaks to optimize speed/battery life while having minimal impact on user experience.

Hmm I still seem to be having performance issues, especially skipping tracks and pressing the actions button to Like tracks, been like this since 3.0, I really miss the music glance.

I've got a quick question that I can't seem to find the answer to.

I just got my AW Series 2 today and I've been busy setting everything up on it. I've noticed that the Units in Health on the Watch are in KG but on the iPhone app they are in lbs (which I want). How can I change the AW to display in lbs too?

Thanks!

What language/region do you have set up in the Watch app (General>Language&Region)? I'll bet you have it set to something other than United States. If so, try changing it to US.

I have it set to UK, I'll try changing it to US.

Thanks!
[doublepost=1478636066][/doublepost]Changed it to US and it made no difference. I don't have to go through he whole setup again, do I?

You actually have to change the region on the phone to United States. Just tested on mine, the Watch app is set to Canada and the iPhone is set to US. Health app on Watch now shows lbs

I'm noticing that the haptic feedback has been changed for the Bedtime alarm, in this beta. Before it used to be the same as the Alarm haptic feedback. Now it's more of a tap..tap...tap..tap...tap..tap.

Cool. That'd be less aggravating.

Right now (in the current non-beta release) it's like GO TO BED GO TO BED GET YOUR ASS TO BED GO TO BED

Haha, I think the aggression level is the same, if not more, actually. :)

Now I mistake it for the low battery taptic feedback. Also, the damn thing taps me continuously until I actually dismiss the notification.

Still getting message notifications on watch. Have the group message thread set to DND on iPhone (has a mix of iMessages and SMS messages)

Anyone else having problem with haptic engine since beta 3 update (serie 2)? For example, in the breathing application, there is no haptic feedback the 2 or 3 first breatbings.
Also, if I touch a facewatch to change it, no haptic feedback. Repeating the operation finally give me a haptic feed-back.

Have you tried a hard reset of both devices? If that doesn't work, try re-pairing. That fixes most issues.
