shanghai stores PLEASE.

- pink,blue,green sport bands
- black leather loop

all 42mm s/m

hi!
we know that you didn't get your watch yet & you're waiting for it since April
but look, we've got the bends
yours,
apple

Been diving too long, Tom? ;)

As I had commented recently, the Milanese watch band costs $149 in addition to the cost of the :apple: Watch. It would seem more logical to be able to buy the :apple: Watch with the band that the customer wants on his / her wrist.

Still, the price of a link band is ridiculous. Someone needs to produce watch bands with the appropriate connection to the :apple: Watch.

Can we get any confirmations frmo any of NYC stores please? Much thanks to people that swing by 9I don't work in the city sadly)

Does the band bend? Does it blend?

I'm hoping Apple releases Watch v2 without bands. I would hate to have to buy a new watch yearly if hardware improves and buying the same band over and over again.

I ordered a white sport band since day one 4/10/15 and I just got it yesterday. I guess it is the same as walking to a store two blocks from my office and pick one up.

It's mind blowing that the link bracelet costs so much more than WHOLE WATCHES from reputable makers (Seiko, etc.) that use similar link bracelets.

WTF, Apple?

Probably gonna have to wait for WWDC for that. I'm looking forward to the new colors as well.

WWDC is too soon. If Apple comes out with new band colors this year, it certainly won't be before the next iPhone event, and likely could come at an iPad event in the autumn right before holiday sales start to kick in around late October or early November.

That's right, I didn't think about that.

Not its not for similar quality band. If you want a hypershitty tm link bands, you will be able to get them cheap $100 in no time at all. All kind of hypershitty stuff will be created for the discerning...(sic) buyers soon.

They're not similar. Try again. The similar ones cost the same price or more.

So we can buy an accessory made specifically for a product that isn’t readily available. Brilliant.

called my local CT store, they have none in-stock and told me they are online specific, and I let them know they are showing up in other stores. My black band is preparing for shipment so should have it soon either way.

I can't find it now, but there was/is a thread somewhere that is editable and listed all the stores that were selling accessories and members were adding to it as we went along.

That was a little while ago, when only chargers were available.

I'll see if I can find it, as it seems like it will be worth updating...

How do you get through directly to a local store? Everytime I call the number for my local stores listed on the Apple site I get the online store and of course they are all saying that they aren't carrying them in store yet.

I'm curious to how much it actually costs for Apple to make a band. It's probably pretty low.

I've seen all the bands and I must say they are exceptionally high quality. The leather bands are supple, the sport bands are made of very nice rubber/silicone, and the link bracelet is easily as good as the one one my Rolex. The magnetic bands stay securely in place.

Apple could have a very nice side business selling new colors/styles as the seasons change. People would build up a nice collection. Assuming they work from one model to the next, that is (and I imagine they would).

Where have you been in the world of business? It's almost always that way with every company. Accessories can cost as much, if not more than the main hardware.

On the UK Apple Store website, the green 42mm Sport Band is now showing 5-7 days despatched (it was much longer than that I seem to recall).
