Apple Watch Debit and Credit Card Charges Begin in the UK, Germany, and France

Barclaycard, FWIW! I initially wanted the SS w/black or stone leather loop, but that was showing 4-6 whereas buying the SS w/white sport band (which I wanted as an extra strap anyway) and then the leather loop straps separately on a separate order, meant a watch on launch day (hopefully) and then the loops following from next Tuesday, so I was very happy with that!

I have a pending transaction for £4.33 more than the watch should be. I'm trying hard to think if I bought coffee recently!!

I got the white because I know I want it, and I can take time to look at others without delaying the watch.

I'm in the same boat having bought it at 12:03am. It's not like Apple would have trouble producing the rubber bands compared to the magnetic leather and metal bands. That and the SS Watch is the same as any other one they're selling besides the space black one. Heck the SS Watch w/ black rubber band is probably one of the most popular steel models. I'm only a few hours away from Cupertino so shipping should be pretty quick.

Credit Card Charged Yesterday and Status Changed

I preordered a stainless steel 38mm with a white sport band at 3:05am on April 10 (from the East Coast of the US). Yesterday my credit card was charged and my order status changed to "Preparing for Shipment." I am hopeful that I will have my watch on Friday the 24th!
 
I ordered a 42mm White Sports in UK at 8.03. Mine has literally just changed to preparing for dispatch !! Looks like it's coming on Friday !! Woop Woop !!

People with it now saying "preparing" do you still have the 24/4-8/5 delivery estimate? Or has it narrowed yet?

Order at 8:02 and email at 8:03 for Sports Black still processing :(

The delivery date seems to be staying the same regardless of location, model of watch, etc.

My order is for a 42mm Sport with blue band and was confirmed at 8:02am.
 
42mm SS with black sport band ordered 08:01 UK, confirmed at 08:03. Nothing yet. Still processing items. Credit card not touched yet. :( Not at all hopeful for this Friday.

When people say that Apple have taken the money do they (you) mean that £299 (or whatever) is showing as gone from your "available balance" or that "apple blah blah blah" is actually showing on your online statements?

In my case, a charge is showing as a pending transaction (I don't have a credit limit and so no "available balance").

Used Debit Card - both Apple Watch and today's sushi taken from my available balance. But neither showing on statements. I want to unbox my new baby now!! Focusing on my job interview on Friday isn't going to be easy hahaha
 
Same here. Seen barclaycard available balance drop but no change to order status. Confirmation mail was sent at 8:04GMT BST.
