I ordered both, but I’m worried the injection molding for the colors is going to be a bit wonky on the non-Nike band. My OCD immediately noticed that the colors aren’t perfectly straight (pun?) on the website images.

Ordered 2 of each. One of each for my wife and I. These are really cool. We own most of Apple's pride bands. It'll be nice to have ones that don't wear down as much.

Seriously, Apple? The Nike one can be decent, but the “full rainbow one” is ugly, it looks like a fake/cheap one you can find online for 8 euros. In my opinion the best Pride band was the 2018 editions, a perfect match between band and watch face. This one is a mess. Really ugly

Virtually nothing on apple's website is an actual photograph, they are all 3d renders, so I'd have a hard time believing that those lines will be in the final product. It would be out of character for apple to allow an aesthetic mistake slip through. The band might fall apart, crash, or allow unauthorized access to your watch data (or any other number of bugs) but I'll be damned if it ain't gonna look good while doing it.

I’ve always thought the pride ones look horrible (hopefully people will understand that disliking the aesthetics has nothing to do with the cause itself). Absolutely love the nike one though - it’s very subtle.

It mentions today on Apple.com, so not too long hopefully.

The one last year was pretty ugly, but I think all the Sport Loops are pretty ugly. The original one is nice though!

Actually, the product images are (surprisingly) real according to this article...

It‘s not printed (as the cheap ones on Amazon/Ebay are). Per Apple’s description, it's assembled by hand from individual strips of fluoroelastomer and then compression molded together. Hence each one has unique “imperfections“.

Yeah, that’s interesting. Thanks for the insight. I just figured they had the various colors of fluoroelastomer being pipetted into the band mold at the same time (FWIW, I didn’t think they were being printed on).

That Nike one looks really good.

Is the rainbow one edible?

Jokes aside I might get one just to see what the compression moulding results are like.

I feel bad that we live in a world where you don't feel comfortable wearing what you want. I get weird looks from time to time when I wear bands because many co-workers think I'm a straight male. I tell most that I support equal rights but my friends know both my wife and I consider ourselves pan. We even have matching pride tattoos. I have the outside heart and she has the inside.

I personally don’t care what people think of what I wear. I’m not going to worry - too many more important things like equality and justice for all.

Ok, can we talk about why the lines of the Pride band are not straight??? Not very Apple like...

These are incredible. I just got two of each. Savvy sellers know these bands will demand a fortune as these look like they’ll sell out incredibly soon. I believe it’s the first time they’ve had pride edition fluoroelastomer also. Now two in one year? They’re going to sell out quickly... I can feel it. My Apple sense is tingling.

Both are ugly.
Aesthetics are entirely subjective. PriceS on Apple branded bands are just completely insane. Sure, a minute amount of the proceeds go to a good cause, but if we simply bought secondary market bands of the same aesthetic for WAY less, we could donate a larger percentage to said causes. I guess having the Apple logo on their band is more important.

That being said, I never expected a pride band to be anything less than slightly ostentatious.

Ordered the Nike one and paid for fast delivery as said delivery on Wednesday, get the email from processing and says delivery from 28may to June 4, hope they refund the cost for priority
