I'm not even gay and i'd rock that nike one. That looks sweet
Virtually nothing on apple's website is an actual photograph, they are all 3d renders, so I'd have a hard time believing that those lines will be in the final product. It would be out of character for apple to allow an aesthetic mistake slip through. The band might fall apart, crash, or allow unauthorized access to your watch data (or any other number of bugs) but I'll be damned if it ain't gonna look good while doing it.I ordered both, but I’m worried the injection molding for the colors is going to be a bit wonky on the non-Nike band. My OCD immediately noticed that the colors aren’t perfectly straight (pun?) on the website images.

I’ve always thought the pride ones look horrible (hopefully people will understand that disliking the aesthetics has nothing to do with the cause itself). Absolutely love the nike one though - it’s very subtle.

It mentions today on Apple.com, so not too long hopefully.

Seriously, Apple? The Nike one can be decent, but the “full rainbow one” is ugly, it looks like a fake/cheap one you can find online for 8 euros.
It‘s not printed (as the cheap ones on Amazon/Ebay are). Per Apple’s description, it's assembled by hand from individual strips of fluoroelastomer and then compression molded together. Hence each one has unique “imperfections“.
I feel bad that we live in a world where you don't feel comfortable wearing what you want. I get weird looks from time to time when I wear bands because many co-workers think I'm a straight male. I tell most that I support equal rights but my friends know both my wife and I consider ourselves pan. We even have matching pride tattoos. I have the outside heart and she has the inside.

Aesthetics are entirely subjective. PriceS on Apple branded bands are just completely insane. Sure, a minute amount of the proceeds go to a good cause, but if we simply bought secondary market bands of the same aesthetic for WAY less, we could donate a larger percentage to said causes. I guess having the Apple logo on their band is more important. Both are ugly.
