So if you stayed up till 3am, what time did you order, and what model did you order?
3:03am EST, I ordered 42MM SS W/Black Sport Band.

What pisses me off is I stayed up til 3:00am EST to order a watch and I here I sit with no real updates on processing times. If they couldn't fulfill initial orders they should've pushed back the launch.
I agree. I ordered my 48mm SS w/ Black leather buckle band at 3:05 am EST on 4/10, but still have "processing order est. delivery of 4/24-5/8". So aggravating. I know people who ordered their watch hours after I did who got their watches already. I understand some models are in more demand, but it shouldn't have this kind of delay for early orders. Oh well.
By mid-July the constrained supply game will be over and you will be able to get any model you want instantly on-line or with a walk-in appnt.
Just checked the status of mine. Ordered on April 10 STILL showing Processing items with July shipping date. SB 42mm Link Bracelet.
That seems kind of ridiculous, no?
SS 42 BSB with a 4-6 week delivery window and no status change whatsoever. Is this model in high demand, low supply?
I'm still in "Processing Items" even though I ordered my 42mm Pink at the same time...
You're lucky. Mine just says June and I ordered 2 minutes after 3AM on launch day. :/
I just can't fathom a company as large and popular as apple on a worldwide launch of a new product would sell a band that they expect to be so unpopular they don't have any kind of inventory on hand to stop. Doesn't seem logical at all.
And let's not get carried away. No one that you know of has received one does not mean that no one has received one.

i haven't seen anyone anywhere get them and no it's perfectly logical, you simply do not understand manufacturing and the risks involved. kickstarter and other crowdfunding outlets were created for precisely this reason, to help small startups mitigate the risk of manufacturing losses.

Ordered 42mm space grey sport about an hour after preorders launched, and now have a May 29-June 11 delivery window.
I also ordered the 42mm SS BSB at 1:03 AM (MDT).
I finally updated to preparing for shipment sometime overnight. Who knows when it will actually get here though. What is ironic is that I am now going out of town all week.... Oh well. At least I saw some change.
I have a feeling that most people who ordered in the first few minutes of pre-orders should see a status change sometime this week.
Unfortunately you ordered one of the most popular models and one of the lowest stocked models...
Not sure why 'Apple dropped the ball on this one'
What shipping estimate were you given BEFORE you checked out?
When I ordered I looked at the shipping estimates and changed some of my selections, so that I received two on launch day and will get two sometime in May.
The end of the first wave shipment window, (May 8th) hasn't even come yet so Apple haven't missed any of their shipment estimates YET.
