I don't understand the whole 'obsolete' thing. Mechanical watches are steam era tech. They are already obsolete by decades the moment you buy them. People still buy them.
I would laugh in a guy's face if I saw him wearing that! It's like Flava Flav's chest clock.

French Apple website iGen.fr is reporting [Google Translate] that pricing for the stainless steel Apple Watch may start at $500, while the gold Apple Watches' pricing could start between $4,000 and $5,000. iGen.fr has been reliable in the past, most recently reporting the dimensions of both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
While Apple had announced that the Apple Watch would start at $350, which was widely assumed to be the price of the aluminum model, and estimates pegged the price of the gold Apple Watch at prices as low as $1,000 or as high as $5,000, there has been little information regarding the pricing of the stainless steel option.
The site's sources also indicate*that Apple still aims to release the Apple Watch by Valentine's Day 2015, which somewhat echoes an earlier report that said the company would be "lucky" to release the device by that timeframe. iGen.fr also mentions that manufacturers and resellers are preparing as if the Watch would release in mid-February 2015.*Previously, Apple Senior Vice President of Retail and Online Stores Angela Ahrendts said the Watch would release in Spring 2015.

Wow! That is one ridiculous looking useless lump of iron. What do they pay you to wear that?

----------
The fact that you think the material is iron shows how little you know about time pieces. Let's just leave it at that before it gets embarrassing for you.

It's a standard 43mm Chronograph.
Maybe you should visit the opticians?
Lol. Sensitive much? A guy who wears that monstrosity does have some personal issues akin to middle-aged men who buy flashy sports cars. But, hey, if it makes you feel manly and it makes you feel like it exudes wealth, that's all that matters. I've read that many men think a flashy (i.e. gaudy) watch attracts a certain kind of woman, so go for it.
Monstrosity? It's 43mm. The industry standard tends to be 41-44mm for a man's watch. Most Rolex's tend to be 44mm.
By the way, I have a flashy sports car too. Because I can.
Knock me over with a feather, lol. I won't guess the size of anything else you may have...
Isn't solid gold 24K?![]()
I'm concerned that you are even thinking about it...
Do you even know what all those dials on the face of your watch are for or do you just want people to think they serve some purpose for you, like men who buy SUVs so that people think they actually go camping in rugged areas but really would die within an hour in the woods? When you change time zones jetting across the globe, does that fancy watch change all the times automatically?
Yes of course I know what they are; hours, seconds, minutes. It's not exactly rocket science.
I have 5 TAG's, so I'm a bit of a fan of the brand.
Are you confusing "solid" with "pure"?

You're at least a day behind on correcting me![]()

Flashy sports car too? Are you suggesting your Tag is flashy?
Anyone spending over $1000 on a second hand watch, IMO, is as foolish as someone spending the extra $3500 for something a bit more narcissistic, I mean it offers literally nothing extra.
The illusion of hard work you must have, earning that kind of money, is laughable to me and very hurtful to most of the conscious beings on this planet.
I guess the fight for equality between these people literally blinds them to the global economy. Shameful behavior, but each to their own I guess and most of us capable of reading this are just as guilty. Lets just hope karma is real.
Lol wtf dude?
Nobody's telling you how to spend your money.
Don't tell others how to spend theirs.
Fair call
Being stuck in a country lacking of local industry, with an incredibly expensive cost of living kind of does control what my money goes to and also my potential earnings, but I'm comfortable.
$3500 difference buys you a lifetime supply of bud, you tell me what makes you happier
I'm not telling anyone to buy anything btw, I'm just saying that it's foolish and narcissistic and I can't see how anyone would think that's a good thing. And if they do, I just don't think they've really thought about it that much.
Also, $4000 is a tiny amount of money and I don't think it matters how anyone spends it, but this mentality goes right up the scale and I think it does matter when it gets to the millions, even more so in the trillions. Look at budgets and the happenings of the world.
Not everyone has the same income as you.
Also not everyone likes the same things as you.
Bud might make you happy but it doesn't make me happy one bit.
Some people spend millions on watches.
Some people spend millions on gambling.
Some people spend millions on escort.
People like different things and have different level of income.
