Was excited to see something about faster sync with Reminders on the iOS 13.1.1 change log. Though it was finally fixed and Reminders would sync with the Watch...

... Yeah right 😒

I have been having a lot of problems with Reminders, although not with Apple Watch but with my other devices. Since I upgraded reminders but am not running Catalina they are now disabled on my iMac. So I was using Reminders on iCloud. But today iCloud web is showing maybe 10% of what is on my IOS devices. I have also been getting messages about "network too slow" from icloud safari web but speedtest shows I have plenty of bandwidth. Just now in Firefox I got the message to the effect that iCloud is having a problem - do you want to send a report to Apple?"

Worked with support. They looked at my phone, iCloud reminders Web and saw the difference. They looked at my account and saw that that data was there. She consulted with a senior analyst and said "they are working on it".

For some reason my reminders are working it seems. My issue was the ‘Today’ Reminders. The complication will say a number and when you click on it the app opens and it’s empty. Hit the back area and it shows a number.

Right now it’s showing. Let’s see how long it ‘works’. Lol

For me iOS 13.1.1 actually seems to have solved all sync and slowness issues with Reminders.

edit: Please disregard my post. The problems seem to be back again. I’m so very disappointed with this iOS release.

Yeah, mine stopped working as well. :(

iOS 13.1.2 and watchOS 6.0.1 are out now, hopefully they will fix it.

The software updates today seems to have fixed this. I haven’t done a lot of testing, but hopefully it’s sorted out now.

Still not getting reminders on my Watch with today’s updates.

I’m at the Apple store as I type this getting a Pro Max and S5. Hopefully the new hardware will fix it lol

The problems seem to be fixed for me as well with 13.1.2/6.0.1. Let’s just hope it keeps working.

For those saying it’s been fixed, are you’s doing an unpair, re-pair of the Watch? I’m jealous lol.

I was lucky, after the update yesterday it seems to have fixed the problem for me without having to pair again or reset sync data.

The update yesterday fixed all syncing for me between my own devices and also between other’s devices in shared lists.

However the ONLY thing that didn’t sync was my iPhone to/from my Apple Watch. If I added something on the watch, it would sync everywhere but on my phone. If I added something on my phone it would sync everywhere but on my watch.

I picked up a iPhone 11 Pro today so I paired the watch to the new phone and for now that seems to have done the trick.

I would definitely recommend unpairing and pairing the watch again.

That’s the Solution:

Unistall remainder app from iPhone.
Turn off iPhone and Apple Watch
Turn on them
Download remainder from iPhone Apple store, don’t open yet
Wait until Apple Watch downloaded remainder app.

Open iPhone and then Apple Watch reminder.

What been of/on working for me is the Today reminders. The other lists work when I go into them but when I go into today it's blank most of the time. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I had the issue and this is what fixed it for me...

Force quit reminders on the iPhone
Turn off the watch and turn it back on again
Open reminders on the iPhone
Open reminders on the watch

After I did that it works perfectly with no issues.
This worked for me, but only for non-shared lists.

After the other suggestions were unsuccessful, this worked for me:
  1. On iPhone, open Settings > Your Name > iCloud and turn Reminders OFF
  2. When prompted, delete all reminders from the iPhone (they are still safely stored in iCloud)
  3. Still on iPhone, open the Reminders app, it should now be empty. If not delete any local reminders (you will need to manually re-add these to iCloud later - maybe temporarily write them on paper)
  4. Force Quit the Reminders app on iPhone and turn iCloud Reminders back ON
  5. Still on iPhone, open the Reminders app, you will see it downloading your Reminders from iCloud
  6. Finally, open Reminders on Apple Watch and watch it sync the Reminders from iCloud
iPhone 11 Pro - iOS 13.2
Watch S3 (GPS) - WatchOS 6.1
