The Apple Watch Series 2, 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel Case with Space Black Milanese Loop changed status to "Preparing for Shipment", although the delivery still says 17/10-28/10 (3-5 weeks)
The Apple Watch Series 2, 42mm Rose Gold Aluminium Case with Space Orange/Anthracite Woven Nylon Strap is still sitting in "Processing Items", with the same expected delivery as the Space Black

Ya looks like Apple not messing around with shipping once it gets to the US. Went from Japan to Alaska to Kentucky all on Tuesday and just got UPS notice its getting delivered tomorrow (I'm in California).
S2/38mm/Silver Aluminum/Pearl Woven Nylon Band ordered 9/15/16 with 10/14-10/27 delivery estimate still processing
In the local store in Slovakia they got 1 AW2 Series 2 Space Gray Alu for me on 23 Sep. I got lucky because it was just on the starting day of selling here and in more countries including Czech Republic. This is more interesting because selling new Apple watches started in Austria 1 week earlier and you are still unable to get one in whole Vienna city. In McShark stores I mean, because of fact there is still no official store yet.
Order shipped last night, ordered on 9/12 -42 gold alum toasted coffee nylon. Tracking is saying it will be delivered tomorrow but apple says October 3rd...anyone else have this? I'm thinking and hoping UPS is correct

Edit: ended up canceling said order and reordered from Best Buy, now have a 10/4/16 (Tuesday) delivery date!

Apple's tracking says my order will be delivered tomorrow, but UPS says it is on the truck and out for delivery. I would trust UPS.
Giving me hope! My 42mm SS with mil loop is still in processing hell with a Oct 24-31 delivery still. I ordered mine on 9/20.
Yes, same here. Shipping notice email from Apple overnight, followed by a UPS delivery notice for Friday, followed immediately by an updated UPS delivery notice indicating tomorrow. Curious! This for an AW series 2, 38mm SG Alum, black sport band. Would be nice if the delivery information is accurate.
You would think you get it very soon. I ordered the same watch from BB, for I had a gift card to use. Order date 9/22/16, out for delivery today.
Thank the old gods and the new ones! Just got texted and emailed from the Apple store. It will be delivered on 10/3. So from order to delivery, it took about 2 weeks. Exciting day!!
Well I just cancelled my order on the Apple site as I just placed the order for pickup on Friday for my Apple Watch S2 SG with Black Sport Band from Best Buy.
Aargh. Frustrating to watch people who ordered a week after me getting delivery while I'm stuck in processing limbo and waiting for late October to roll around. Last year I cancelled my order in annoyance after waiting six weeks without a delivery date. Frankly, I'm glad I waited for version 2 before spending the money, but my patience with this process is wearing pretty thin.
Nope. I hate spending my weekends in crowded stores. Agree that there's a possibility I could beat Apple's estimated shipping date that way, although I haven't heard anyone report that the gold AWS have shown up in the real world. That said, this preorder-and-wait game is the pits, especially when my selections seem to be at the back of the line.
I'm just venting. My frustration level peaked last night when I ordered my daughter her SECOND apple watch (series 1) for her birthday. Ordered last night and it's scheduled to arrive Friday, while I'm still drumming my fingers like Ralphie waiting for his secret decoder ring. I realize of course that these are the epitome of first-world problems, but it's frustrating as heck.
It does seem that they're really ramping up and getting a lot more units shipped this week so I think the distant ship dates won't be realistic. Mine was shipped two weeks earlier than I expected it to be and will be here by the end of the week.
