Apple Watch Series 2 Pre-Orders! Shipping Estimates, Order Time and Everything Pre-Order

On 9/21 I ordered an S2 AL SB with a delivery of 10/24. Best Buy has it in stock with store delivery this Friday. So I just ordered from BB and xcld the Apple order. Keep checking BB online.

I'm just venting. My frustration level peaked last night when I ordered my daughter her SECOND apple watch (series 1) for her birthday. Ordered last night and it's scheduled to arrive Friday, while I'm still drumming my fingers like Ralphie waiting for his secret decoder ring. I realize of course that these are the epitome of first-world problems, but it's frustrating as heck.

The AWS Gold is showing as available on Best Buy's website and you can have it delivered to your house. I just added it to a cart and it said you could have it delivered to your door by Friday with free 2 day delivery.

Might be worth checking out.

Dagum looks like I can get a space grey aluminum aw2 tomorrow , or wait for the SS Black order from Apple. Decisions need to be made.

Yes, I see that. Keep refreshing and Best Buy and BH are getting the gold/rose gold/space gray in stock and if you get it to your shopping cart then delivery is Friday. I did one gold just now for Friday

At the Apple.com all the watch in store is showing "available Nov 2".
Something interesting behind the scene must have happened. Because till yesterday it was all random with few available and rest not available. Now uniformly all of them are "available Nov 2".

- So Apple flat out made the executive decision for in store pick up to delay till Nov 2.
- This also means they are ramping up as they have to meet the huge demand to have all these stores carry the watch in all configs on Nov 2
- Also may be they are thinking to fill online pre-orders first before sending anything to Apple store?

What do you think?

Probably because there are millions of second wave country orders that push back the already heavily backlogged orders.

Yeah. I am supposed to get mine on Friday. I did in store pick up as I'll probably go get it during lunch. Hoping we both have a good Friday! :)

My BB order just went to Preparing so I am figuring it will be at the store for pickup on Friday! WOOT!

It will be a fun weekend.

How's the battle with the fire going? Still going away from your place?
From the UPS flights that I could find out of Japan to Anchorage, our flight landed in AK this afternoon and should be leaving for Louisville on one of the nine flights that are scheduled for today.

The Loma Fire is still heading away from me. If it had gone this direction instead, I'd be in the evacuation zone. I can't give enough credit to the firefighters. They are doing an amazing job in really rough terrain.

UPS still shows my Watch in Osaka. Where are you finding the flight info?

Has anyone ordered the 42mm gold amaluminum with cocoa sport band and experiencing delays. If I wanted to pick up at Apple Store do you guys think they will send a confirmation to pick up earlier then the 2/11/16

That's odd they got to Osaka at the same time but didn't leave together. Maybe they missed your scan. Mine has been scanned in Anchorage about 25 minutes ago. After it departed Osaka, I looked on https://flightaware.com/ for UPS flights from Japan at the time of the departure scan and there was only one flight at the time and the AK arrival scan was close to the flight arrival. Now I'm waiting for the departure scan to check for that flight and see when it will get to Louisville in time to get delivered as scheduled on Friday.
 
I now have an order to pick up a watch at best buy on Saturday... meanwhile, my apple order is still processing :( (is it bad to also be skeptical that Best Buy can hold up to their commitment of Saturday? lol)

Still keeping an eye out on stock just in case one pops up in my Apple store before Saturday...

That is where I am at. I had my wife's shipped because it could be here Saturday, but mine would be shipped next Wednesday and just did the pick up at BB option for Saturday. I need to cancel my apple preorder still.

...Hope Best Buy can come through with the Saturday estimate or I'm going to be jealous of my wife that day :)

They're picked up in different areas of China so go through different export cities but once they're in Anchorage they could end up on the same planes but there's a good chance the planes just continue to Louisville with the cargo they already have onboard since they're probably already full.

I see lots of shipping update for stainless steel but none for aluminum..almost all of the shipping updates from yesterday and today are for SS
I think Apple just made lots of stainless steel this week and screwed people with aluminum orders.
May be next week it will be the aluminum batch...:)

What the hell Apple your inventory and production process is not uniformly designed.......

Have you checked out BB I ordered an aluminum and SS and UPS tracking says they will be DL tomorrow and ordered this morning

Funny thing... I'd ordered aluminum from BB for Friday delivery. Changed my mind and xcld it and went to order SS. November delivery.

Quickly reordered the aluminum.
