Apple Watch Series 2 Pre-Orders! Shipping Estimates, Order Time and Everything Pre-Order

I just ordered the 38mm white sport for my daughter today and it has an estimated delivery date of 10/28-11/4. I'm obviously not expecting this any time soon, but is the going theme that they're delivering prior to the estimated delivery date? Or are they running right on time? Her birthday is in late October.
 
Ordered Series 2 38mm gold aluminum 9/10/2016, and they said 3-5 weeks. It shipped 9/27, and arrived 9/29.
 
I'm kind of late to the party here, but wondering how Apple is doing with their shipping estimates. I just ordered an S2 42MM Space Gray Aluminum w/ black woven band. Would it be safe to expect it a week or so ahead of the scheduled 10/28 - 11/4 estimate? I see that a lot of people have been ordering from Best Buy instead, getting them much sooner, which is surprising. Unfortunately BB did not have this model available for ordering.

Bestbuy is doing way better now compared to Apple. I have a pickup today for the watch I ordered this week. :)

My order on Apple.com from September 19 is still processing for end of October delivery
No update.

This is my first Apple watch. Can't wait. I've been wanting one of these things since the first time I read a Dick Tracy cartoon in the 1970's.

Glad to hear your watches are almost to you and glad I was able to help in some little way to get yours to you. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine.

And I just used my watch Dick Tracy style today. Someone called me and my phone was across my office so I answered on my Apple Watch and talked to them for a couple minutes till I got my phone and then did the swipe up on the phone icon in the lower left corner to do the hand off to my phone and it was flawless and awesome!

I am looking for the gold with the brown nylon band but nowhere to be found. Ordered from Apple says Oct 27-Nov 2

That model is the most delayed. I have not seen a single update with the gold aluminum whoever has ordered from Apple.com
 
Ordered my SBSS 38mm w/sport band on Wednesday afternoon from Best Buy. Wearing it now. Go through them if you can while inventory is low!

I have no idea how it happened but I received my watch less than a week after I ordered it. Ordered it on Sept 24 - received the UPS tracking number on Sept 27 - received the watch on Sept 29. I'm in Canada btw.
 
Ordered my watch from Apple on September 16th, and it was still processing by the 28th with a delivery estimate of October 17th-28th. So I cancelled it on the 28th and ordered the same watch from Best Buy as others here have done. I ordered it late Wednesday and it was already there for me to pick up in stores at 11 am today.
 
I ordered the black aluminum watch with rubber band. It's due oct 24-29, but I also just found it in Toronto at Apple Store, only with the nylon band. So I reserved it for pick up.

I'm confused as to why they have only the black watch with nylon band, and why it's been available for days and days and not running out.

Anyways, at least I'll have it sooner than late October.
 
Anyone with Apple.com order from Sept 18/19/20 getting any update?

My Best buy order I received on Friday which I ordered this week.

My Apple.com order from Sept 19 is not seeing any update
 
Ordered Series2 Spacegrey Aluminum w/ black sportsband on September 13. No updates here. Still processing, delivery 11-24 october.

Website said by Wednesday the 5th and email says the same. I actually just checked the status to see if it says the same and it already passed processing and is preparing for shipping.

I think what you are asking is how long it takes to go from "processing" to "preparing for shipment"? It really depends, but for me it's always been sooner then what Apple's estimated times are.
