Argh! Such a tease!

I ordered a 38mm sg aluminum with black sport band on 9/19. Shipment date was scheduled to be 10/16-10/31.

Unexpectedly, I got a tracking number yesterday showing shipping from Suzhou, China, and UPS said scheduled delivery was Friday 9/30, with an expected early delivery for today--9/29! Cool!

Unfortunately, last night, while in Shanghai, this little beauty popped up: "11:01 A.M. Severe weather conditions have delayed delivery." and the expected delivery is now "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later." Last status update is that it left Osaka on 9/29 at 11:25 PM. Hoping Friday delivery is still possible.

Also ordered a 38mm gold aluminum with concrete sport band on the same date, and it just switched to "Processing" today.

Apple seems to be getting these things moving.

I received the same alert this morning...must be a storm. My new delivery date is 9/30 instead of 9/29.

Woohoo! finally got scanned in at the local depot. UPS has surpassed expectations and got it here a day early. Original delivery estimate from Apple: 10/12-10/25.
Mine is on the truck! My original estimate was 10-11 - 10-24 ordered on 9-10. SS W2 SWB

FINALLY arriving tomorrow, Series 2 SS 42mm with white band
Just picked mine up from UPS, same model. Now I wait until I finish the workday before I can play with it.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Ordered a S2 42MM Silver w/White and S2 38MM Gold w/Concrete 9/15 and was told yesterday that it would ship 10/15 from B&H. But seeing other stores like Apple and BB have it in stock in store makes me wonder if I should just pay the tax for some instant gratification...

For my Canadian friends... Do you believe the Series 2 watch is worth it for the price? I've been looking into getting the second generation Apple Watch, but with the price hike, I don't even know if it's worth it anymore.

The Watch will cost $600 after taxes. Pretty insane, considering I'd just be using it for notifications. I already have a Fitbit, so the Health side isn't worth it for me. The Fitbit is far superior when it comes to tracking and exercising. You can't exactly wear the apple watch while playing hockey...

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

At the Apple.com all the watch in store is showing "available Nov 2".
Something interesting behind the scene must have happened. Because till yesterday it was all random with few available and rest not available. Now uniformly all of them are "available Nov 2".

- So Apple flat out made the executive decision for in store pick up to delay till Nov 2.
- This also means they are ramping up as they have to meet the huge demand to have all these stores carry the watch in all configs on Nov 2
- Also may be they are thinking to fill online pre-orders first before sending anything to Apple store?

What do you think?

Now all the Apple Store pickup dates have moved to "available Nov 3".

Moved by a day...I think they are really having their troubles with either procuring manufacturing materials or logistics.
For someone at Apple's stature should not be changing dates so often.

Well I was like you when the original Apple Watch came out. I just couldn't justify spending so much money on a watch. (remember the original AW was priced higher than the Series 2 I think?) But a few of my friends had the AW Series 0 and I knew I wanted to get the watch when Series 2 came out.

I have paid over $500 to buy a Swiss mechanical watch several years ago so in some ways I was already ready to buy an expensive watch. I'm happy with the AW2 that I won't have to pay $20+ for new batteries every few years. :)

I had the same issue with the weather delay on the tracking for my watch last night. They seems to be having a lot of weather delays recently.

Okay I think UPS is trying to F*** with me! The courier package left the dispatch to delivery van at 8:11am. It is now nearly 4:00pm and I still haven't received it yet!!! It's supposed to be delivered before the end of 5pm because I had it delivered to my work but our office hour closes at 4:30pm!!!! I hope the delivery doesn't happen between 4:30pm - 5:00pm because if so then I won't get the watch til tomorrow. :(

I'm about to give up on Apple and just order from B&H. At least the watch would be here soon after 8/6. What is up with the Space Black? I purchased on 9/23 and no movement since.

I have an 42mm aluminum space grey on order from Apple for the last week. It says ships in 3-4 weeks. I have been watching istocknow.com everyday, a few times a day. A couple hours ago my local Apple Store had none, and now they do :) I placed my order for pickup today. Just waiting for a text to say its ready for pickup :)

Does anyone know when apple usually restocks?
Is their a certain time of the day thats best to try to order one online for in-store pickup?

I used istocknow and found a 42mm Space Grey Sport at my local Apple Store - looked like all the Colorado stores refreshed between 1pm and 2pm. They were gone 2 hours later.

I keep the istocknow page up in Safari and keep refreshing throughout the day.

Edit to say that while I was there picking up the SG, they also got some 42mm Rose Gold ones.

No update no hope..

Anyone from 9/19 got update for a aluminum 42 mm from Apple.com? Any positive news will be grateful

Whoo hoo! Two watches on the trucks and out for delivery this morning (1) my gold series 2 AWS with cocoa band, and (2) my daughter's rose gold series 1 AWS with the pink sand band, for her 14th birthday present.

This is my first Apple watch. Can't wait. I've been wanting one of these things since the first time I read a Dick Tracy cartoon in the 1970's.
