Apple is now firmly back to iPod-style domination for the wearables market.
No competitor has the money and/or the incentive (as they already lost tons of money on their failed wearables efforts) to research&develop the futuristic tech Apple is expected to deliver in the next years.
This is Apple's game to play, and win, for the foreseeable future.
But many here will claim the Watch is a flop. Even without official data from Apple as to sales every analyst and tracking survey points to absolute domination in the category. We never hear a peep out of analysts about Samsung, Moto, or any of the other 'smartwatch' contenders. Traditional watch makers are fully aware of the Watch. The market be still be nascent but it's clear Apple is in charge of it. But the naysayers will drag out the Fitbits and other dedicated fitness trackers as proof the Watch is a flop, much like the naysayers drag out all the cheap Android POS phones to claim victory over the iPhone.

Until they make it round, i'll never get it.
