Apple Watch Series 3 Pre-Order Thread

I actually thought by Series 3 Watch, Apple would separate the Watch from the band. Nice to purchase a gold Watch with an ugly pink band as the only option. Then have to shell out a minimum of $49 to fix something you do not want. At least they could have made the default more band generic, so it might appeal to a wider audience. Sometimes Apple is dumb as a rock.

My LTE 38mm SS w/Soft White Sport Band that had a delivery date of 10/6–10/13 (ordered 2:05 am 9/15) is now preparing to ship w/debit pending. Anyone seeing similar?

Looking *SO* forward to updating from series 0!

42mm silver aluminum w/seashell sport loop ordered about 8 hours after they went live. Delivery date originally set for 10/13 to 10/20. Just changed from In Progress to Preparing to Ship. So hopefully they'll arrive well ahead of time.

Verizon activation took me 2 minutes, first 3 months free and I ordered off the apple app. all you have to do is sign into your account via verizon and it syncs it.

One of my watches says on truck. Out for delivery with the 9/25 date as well. I called UPS and was told it was a technical error. That i should receive all items today.

Received mine earlier this morning from FedEx and just had a chance to upload a photo -- This is the BSS LTE on ATT network, activated. --note I switched out the sport band with my BSS links from my Gen 0.

Enjoying the photos posted from others! Hope everyone is enjoying their new watch(s) or at least getting positive updates in reagrds to shipment/tracking info.

Just picked up from Pasadena Apple Store. Took like 5 minutes. Store was busy but no real lines. Just people browsing.

Also they have a high stock on all iPhone 8 and + available so if you have the urge to buy one today, go for it. I was sort of tempted until I was playing with the display models. No real difference from my 7 Plus. I’ll just wait...

Watch purchased from Verizon arrived via FedEx at 12:45. I restored from my S0 backup and the S3 is so much faster! No problem at all with activation and the watch shows up correctly in my Verizon account.

Hope the iPhone X pre-order and delivery goes as smoothly.

Just got back from the UPS store...


There's no separate box this time or was the that removed in S2. All it comes in the in shipping cardboard box but not actual plastic box for storage lets say

That's unfortunate about the plastic box not being included in the stainless model. That was nice to have for transport or just using it as a protective case.

It may have to do with model trim? I have a Hermès edition and I have the white plastic box inside orange box. I’m guess the ceramic edition is the same??

Does in indeed come with the white plastic box. I think it's the stainless models that no longer include this.

After patiently sitting at home all day waiting for FedEx, I called them and they told me that they overloaded the aircraft departing Memphis this morning and as a result the flight couldn’t depart and “my package is in a shipping container that for security reasons” can’t be delivered until next week. Of course the tracking information still shows it’s going to be delivered today. Not sure why they couldn’t have updated the tracking info at 5:14am when they realized they had a problem! WTF! I’m so mad at FedEx right now.

Lol 10 minutes and already having a problem. The setup got locked up after it was done syncing from my iPhone. It kept saying "Push Digital Crown" to begin and just wouldn't work. Did a hard reboot and appears to be working great now.
