Should have come here first. Bought from T-Mobile, I went through activation fine but it showed in the watch app as Not Active and no info was passed to the watch. When I called to see how to fix it, the first rep told me to remove the account and try again. Now I am stuck needing to enter the last 4 of SSN which won't work on a business account. An hour of talk time with 4 reps got me nowhere.

Still wouldn't be working, but now I am a step behind where I was before I called.

Anyone out there able to activate on T-Mobile with a Series 3 purchased direct from Apple? I do not have a business account but can't get the watch to activate. Get to the SSN entry page but after entering I get a Code 409 error and it stops the activation process. Been trying to activate since launch day last Friday. Been on the phone with T-Mobile a couple of times so far, probably 1-2 hours total, with no success. Last tech told me this morning that the problem is I bought the watch from Apple and they don't have any solutions as of now.

Yes sucks !!
Via Twitter last night they acknowledged it’s a blanket issue for non-TMobile watch purchases and biz accounts. Why do I have a biz account again? I feel like there is no added value for my 8 lines and non of us can purchase iPhones via Apples installment plan. I know off topic a little bit but any other advantages to biz? Certainly not support!

Non business account here with AW3 LTE. I can register my watch, LTE data works, but inbound/outbound calling doesn't work. This launch is a complete cluster...

Congrats! Everything works including voice? Do you know what the downsides are to move away from Biz? I haven't found good answers on that question yet. How many lines do you have?
I have only one line. I can make and receive calls plus send messages. Have not tried to send a regular text yet. Plays Apple music correctly. So far I see zero difference in my plan between business and personal. Same price and setup

Did you purchase your Apple Watch from Apple or from T-Mobile?

I don’t understand how it can take this long for them to get this fixed. I have been told the best are working on it I am guessing they can’t be that good if they are just leaving us small business customers hanging. This is getting ridiculous.

Did any of you that switched from business to personal have the free line promotions? If so, did those promotions stay active? I really don't see any point in being a business customer. I don't think there has been a single perk that has been offered to me.

The most frustrating part about this question is realizing that you will literally never be able to get a real answer from T-Mobile as to whether or not you would retain your promotions. I’m guessing no, though. Since it’s going to be considered a new account with a new plan.

T-Mobile contacted me and asked me to go to the store; they recently published the steps required to activate the watch on their internal forum (knowledge base) and without hassle, they were able to activate my watch.

Here are the steps:
* Activate new Digits line
* Instead of Sim number, enter EID number of the watch
* Choose BYOD (buy your own device option when asked in their tool which i believe is called quickview).
* Once activated, go to your watch, setup cellular and it will go straight to the page which says congratulations, your apple watch is activated.

Is this for personal or business account?
