Business accounts are the real problem, there are no solution at the moment
I heard that they received instructions for business accounts too but not sure what those are as i didnt ask them when i visited the store. Will not hurt to give them a call or visit store just to double check if some workaround is there for business accounts.

If someone has success doing this, please verify!

I can personally confirm that the procedure outlined by rayskyy (in another thread) does work. rayskyy’s message, in essence, said:
"1. call customer support. (you do not have to go to the store)
2. tell them you have a apple watch 3 and issues with activating it on digits. And you now have the answer :)
3. Have them activate a digits line
4. Make sure they chose BYOD (their tool is called Quickview)
5. Once activated, you will get a text - stating new number
6. Go through the apple watch App on your phone and cellular setup and enter e911 address
7. Now, at this time it may take a little while to activate your watch. I closed the app, waited for 10mins ,then went back in and voila."

I have a business account, and Apple Watch purchased from Apple.

I made sure I was talking to someone with the Business Care dept.

Depending on who you talk to, you might have to walk that rep through the procedure provided by rayskyy. I insisted that I had a "friend" that was under the same circumstances as me and had talked to another rep earlier that went through the same procedure and everything worked. Had to do some arm wringing for a little bit, but it definitely works! Finally!

Haven't yet tested out voice calling or anything, but according to settings, Watch status is "Connected."
[doublepost=1506558866][/doublepost]After the Watch is activated, you have to link the DIGITS phone number with your cell number so you can receive calls from people dialing your iPhone number.

greatestash outlined the procedure in another thread, but I’m pasting it here, as well:

“* Login to your tmobile account
* Choose the line which is activated for digits
* Click Manage Digits for that line
* It will open a new page and it will show all the numbers under your account
* Choose the digits number which is activated for your watch
* On next page, it will ask you with which number you want to Pair
* Choose your phone number from the list and click save.
* You will receive text that your digits phone number is paired with your other number.”

Hey all,

I’m stoked to let you know that t-mobile has finally found and easy an reliable solution. I chatted with Customer service team on Twitter 2 hours ago and they were able to activate my Apple Watch on the business plan within 10 minutes. I didn’t even have to re-pair the watch. They simply asked me for the EID number and send me a link to the credit card authorization page.

Anyone have any luck activating their series 3 on a T-mobile business plan? Been on with support all morning and no luck yet.
I do have lucky, contacted twitter customer service rep tonight, they add a new line in my business account and ask me for my AW3 IMEI and EID th n they paired new line to my iPhone number, takes one hour but finally my watch is working perfectly!

Same with me - took them longer than that, but I feel our two lines were one of the first successes - at least that's what the rep said (this was 3PM CST). Shortly after doing this, I was testing and had my phone in airplane mode and a call came into my watch. Answered and chatted for five minutes - great quality and noticeably better than my S1 and of course all on cellular to the watch!

Did you guys have to associate the newly assigned number to the Apple Watch with your iPhone number via the DIGITS app or webpage to be able to receive incoming calls on the Watch placed to your iPhone number?

My Twitter rep did it for me. At first, calls were coming from my digits number instead.

They are complete idiots.. I have no better way to describe this.. Twitter couldn’t access my preferences to add a digits line and made me call Business Customer Care.. Business Custo`mer care told me they added a Digits line and everything should be working fine.. Of course didn’t, so back to twitter and BCC and now transferred to technical team, then to Digits team only to be told we have to cancel the line they added because it’s for wearable.. Reset my iPhone and go through activation again on the watch (which we all know will ask for SSN which doesn’t work on business).. Chances are this won’t work either.... this is beyond incredible.

Just a heads up, when i went through activation i couldn’t actually get it to do anything so I just hit cancel, continued restoring my watch from my backup, and then i went into the cellular settings page and it kind of just eventually activated itself. I never did anything specific.

Adding another apple watch for another I'm having an issue where I can see that there's a new DIGITS line on my account. But my Apple watch app is still asking for my social. I rebooted, I've unpaired, tried a bunch and it's just not working.

Either call TMobile tech support or visit their store and ask them to add your EID number for that digits line manually. Once thats done, your watch will automatically be activated.

I assumed it was the EID. I even asked them on Twitter. I think it might be fixed now. We're about to find out.

No problems here. Maybe an issue in specific countries only?

We're specifically talking about T-Mobile US business accounts

Does the second text saying that it will link come later? I got the in app setup to complete (after getting twitter T-Force to manually add a digits line), but I don't think the number has been paired.

I got the first text saying that the Digits line has been activated.

Bought from Apple with a US Tmobile @Work acct.

Ask T-Mobile twitter to pair your number and be explicitly clear which phone number you want synced to which digits line. They’ll still probably get confused because they seem like they’ve never done this before. But they will do it for you.

After about 10 hours of being on the phone or on twitter support with T-Mobile, I can proudly say that I have finally gotten my two apple watches, one purchased at Apple, one on EIP from T-Mobile, activated and functioning correctly. I specifically mention 10 hours because as a business customer I think it’s absolutely insane that I had to spend that much time on something that should be a pretty basic customer experience. Especially as a small business. And unfortunately, every basic task seems to take at least 2 hours with T-Mobile business care.

I spent 8 hours yesterday trying to activate an Apple Watch 3 with my T-Mobie Business account. All I can say is, What a bunch of idiots. It's still not working. I've tried via Twitter and I've tried over the phone, and none of them knows what the heck they are doing. The Twitter support is especially ridiculous. They are using the language that 14-year-olds use and pepper their messages with the stupid superlatives and emojis.

In the end, T-Mobile was able to get the cellular signal on my watch but they paired the watch line with the wrong iPhone line via DIGITS. However, once that mistake was made, and I asked them to pair it with the correct line (which they had been told about several times before they made that mistake), they supposedly made the change, which was reflected in their system, but the watch was still paired with the wrong iPhone line. I ended up speaking with a supervisor at 9:30 PM last night (that was after 8 hours on the phone with about a dozen T-Mobile reps), who told me that he had to open a ticket with operations to pair the watch line with the correct iPhone line because his system was showing that the watch line was paired with the correct iPhone line. This morning, I logged in to my T-Mobile user web portal and saw with my own eyes that the watch line was paired with the wrong iPhone line. I was able to unpair the watch line from the wrong iPhone line and pair it with the correct iPhone line right there in my T-Mobile user portal. Once this was done, the watch started operating as was expected.

It's absolutely unacceptable that it took so much time to activate the Apple Watch 10 days after the first watches were received by customers. T-Mobile is still completely clueless about LTE Apple Watches. For a business owner like myself, it's unacceptable to have to spend so much time on activating a device. This watch was actually for my wife. I'm getting a Nike Plus Series 3 with LTE this Thursday, and instead of waiting for this watch with anticipation, I'm dreading the moment when this watch is delivered to me. I am afraid I will have to spend another 8 hours on the phone with T-Mobile to activate the second watch.
