Just spent a few hours on the phone and through chat asking questions. Got a lot of mixed information. Most of it boils down to “it’s says it’ll be there Friday and that’s all we know.” Even spoke to a supervisor.
One agent was telling me there was some sort of glitch with some orders that they’re implementing a fix at 9pm PST to fix that doesn’t let them press some button to submit the order to be researched or something? So she thinks that’s it and is telling me my tracking number should pull up after 9pm PST. The supervisor told me there are no glitches and doesn’t know what she was talking about but that my order shows it’s ready for shipment and a tracking number will be provided later. He said he doesn’t care that I’ve ordered in the past years and never seen this, or that others online are getting tracking numbers. He said “Apple changes things sometimes.” He was very rude.
Overall, I got no real reassurance. Most people just kept saying “it’s being prepared for shipment, you’ll be emailed when it’s shipped. That is all.”
Woah, if you have a 9/20 delivery date you can expect it to be delivered.
