The "always on" got to me, too. I knew it was on me that I'd have a later delivery date, but I've still been jealous of all those whose watches are on the move.
I did get up early and start my 11 Pro order at 5:01 am, when I could first gain access to the store. However, I blew it by asking to get it set up for my carrier. That took until around 5:04. My Midnight Green isn't due until 10-4 to 10-11. No notice on it yet. If I hadn't opted for the popular color, I'd probably be getting that this Friday.
Pre ordered the series 5 Hermes with Noir Swift band. Super excited!
so my apple watch was charged and preparing to ship meanwhile the apple watch band i ordered separately has been preparing to ship this whole week

My watch band is coming from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, my Titanium watch is coming from China.

hoping my watch ships soon then as it went into preparing to ship last night. I think the hermes editions ship from California but not sure
Today I see a pending charge for my Sept. 26-Oct 1 delivery date. So, I guess that means it's about to ship?
Same here. Mine is preparing to ship now. Can’t find a tracking number on UPS yet but hopefully it ships today.
Ordered the same, but now second guessing thinking I should have gotten black titanium.
My Titanium with a delivery date of October 1-4 went to Preparing to Ship and won't let me cancel. I used my Apple Card and have already sold my iPhone X (using my android backup) so I can't check my Apple Card to see if I was charged lol since I don't have access to the Wallet app. Haven't been able to find anything about my Apple Card account being accessible via browser. I'm pretty intrigued by this really. The promise of doing it all within the Wallet app is fun; but shouldn't it be available through some other means as well? Kinda odd.
So it says shipped. I look in Fedex DM, nothing. I lookup the tracking number and it said shipped on Tuesday and it’s just sitting at the TX hub the whole time. I wonder why Fedex manager never told me. Oh well you should have tracking too.
Still no tracking number... called and talked to another supervisor who basically told me no serial was assigned to my order and so I won’t be getting my watch on release. She advised she has many calls similar to this and apparently shipping is a total mess this year, according to her. I told her how I have my iPhone tracking number, but it hasn’t left China either, and she told me based off that, I won’t be getting my phone at release either.
She told me “I wish Apple would stop giving exact dates when they’re approximations. The terms and conditions say it can be late a few days.” And that I wasn’t the only person to see this issue. She basically told me to wait or cancel my order, and if she were me she would cancel it and go to a store and hope for the best.

My advice is wait and you might be pleasantly surprised. It was a **** show last year for me and I got both devices on launch day still. This year I’m hardly checking the tracking and just sitting back and waiting. Good luck to you.
I am sorry that you are having such a bad pre-order experience. Apple should stop the pretense that orders are not shipped until the online store website states that they shipped.
Did you try to enter your order number in track by reference on UPS (put your entire order number but the last 2 digits) or try your phone number there too.
