Silver aluminum with black sport loop.

Ordered at 2:22pm. Expected September 28-30

Has moved beyond processing to "preparing to ship" so we'll see. Hopefully ships tomorrow and arrives Friday but I am not optimistic. Even Amazon is taking a few days to get stuff and their distribution centre is less than an hour away.

Southern Ontario, Canada.

Apple Watch Series 6 GPS, 44mm Blue Aluminium Case with Atlantic Blue Braided Solo Loop - Size 7Arrives 28 Sep

Sad wanted it on Friday
The braided solo loop bumped your date forward. If you went for the reg sports strap you may get it earlier. That’s what happened to me. I’m just going to get the braided later but I want the watch now.

I am interested to see so many orders for stainless steel cases, I started with SS believing that it was stronger and that this was important for water resistance (I also had not factored in the speed of Apple technology cycles). As I am now buying a watch every cycle I have shifted to an Aluminum case, which has also given me a new range of colours. I would be interested in hearing from those who bought SS cases to learn the benefits they see for the additional cost. Thanks

I'm coming from an aluminum Series 3 I bought at launch. At the time, I was a student in university so cost was a considerable factor in deciding which one to get. I have since graduated and have a stable job. I ordered a silver SS Series 6 largely due to aesthetics as I think the polished silver looks really sleek and I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford that premium now. Also, I find that watch ecosystem much more fleshed out now than it was 3 years ago. I see improvements being more and more incremental year over year since the Series 3, and, given that I was able to last 3 years during a time in which the Apple Watch was getting noticeably better between each release, I didn't mind spending a little bit more knowing I'm not planning to upgrade again for at least 2 years (hopefully longer, fingers crossed!)

Mine went to "Preparing to Ship" overnight as well. AW6 Silver Titanium - 44mm- Sept 29-Oct 1

Toronto, Canada here. Any other Canadians with more updates beyond that?

I dont see anything in UPS My choice as of yet though.
Same for me...changed to preparing to ship, still shows Sept 29-oct 1. But nothing beyond. 40mm SS S6

Though I know people in Toronto who only ordered a single band and it says sept 18 delivery and theirs also flipped to preparing to ship. So...fingers crossed I guess.

Did anyone order and get Friday Delivery?

I ordered quick with the site working at a crawl and have Sept 21-Sept 23 Delivery.

Ordered Graphite Stainless Steel on Spirt band. New Jersey in USA here.

Yeah, my wife’s 40mm stainless cellular is supposed to arrive Friday. My 44 mm in same config is due a few days later (Sep. 21-23).

Isn’t that sapphire glass actually worse for prevent cracks when striking the watch against hard objects but better at preventing scratches?
I thought I read that on iMore once. One reason I just get the aluminum.
Yes I think you are correct - I should have clarified. It is indeed more brittle, however I have yet to have been able to damage a screen on my S3-S5 SS watch, whereas I know I cracked my aluminum screen within a few weeks

This is the same for people in the US, Canada and UK. Got zero to do with being in Oz and more with band choices. The solo loops seem to bump the dates forward for everyone.

All well and good except people in UK and US ordering same watch/same band type after me are getting shorter dates + preparing to ship. I didn’t order the solo loop so not sure how that’s relevant to my dates.

Is anyone pre-ordering from Best Buy.com? A lot of models are showing release date delivery but I am skeptical..
I'm not but Best Buy is pretty good with pre-orders of other items. Like video games for example. Always delivers release day. sometimes a day earlier. But who knows for this stuff...

I’m the opposite. I’ve banged my watch off or desks, door frames, all kinds of stuff and no cracks but I’ve got some good scratches from working on my mowers and snow blower. I assume I would have cracked the crap out of a sapphire glass watch by now.

My apologies I thought you’d ordered the solo loop I see it’s the sports loop you have. Yeah that is weird. Hopefully it comes sooner :)

Same, I’ve banged my watch so many time and there’s not a mark on it. I mean I like the SS and Titanium but I upgrade every two years and it just gets to be a waste of money. I buy other tech so I have to pull back somewhere.

I ordered a 44mm titanium with sports loop, eta is September 28-30, like everyone else, mine is also in the preparing to ship and my card was charged yesterday. In my experience cards only get charged when the item is for sure coming. I would be so delighted if it comes this Friday. I sold my series 5 last week, I’m starting to really have a hard time without the watch, especially while exercising.

I got the Aluminum silver 44mm S6 to replace my silver S4. I really debated the new blue color because I love blue but I didn't think some of my current bands would look good with it and it limits getting new colors. I like the aluminum because it's held up beautifully and I don't have to put out a ton to upgrade.

I ordered yesterday at 1:45ct, about 45 minutes after the store opened. I actually wasn't going to order at all. Then I was, then I wasn't, then I was. You know how that goes. Then I hemmed and hawed about what color band to get. I really like this white and green combo. It's different from anything I have. I kind of wanted a fall color too so I bought the Purple Pulse Nike band this morning. My shipping still says September 25th-29th but my order did change to Preparing To Ship this morning. I'm hoping that it'll come on Friday, we'll see!

I ordered these for me and the wife, managed to get Friday Delivery for the watches but have to wait until Wednesday for the braided loop bands - but if I bought the watch with the braided loop it said delivery for October time!

I'm in UK.

I was charged the full amount within 10 minutes of the order being placed and my watch was changed to "preparing to ship" last night. From my experience with previous iPhone + watch drops, they usually only charge when the item is about to ship out. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone who is at preparing to ship receives their watch on Friday or over the weekend.

I had the stainless steel black and it broke about a year and a half ago. I'm excited to finally get back on the apple watch train!
