Gah, I ordered mine through my business portal, 44mm space grey with blue sport band, but I haven't gotten an indication of any delivery date yet. I guess I'll know when my card gets dinged. I ordered maybe 40 minutes after the keynote finished, so who knows.

Ordered the Series 6 44 mil, Space Gray Aluminum with the green Solo Loop. Estimated for 25th of September. I think these are conservative estimates and the shipping times will reduce by a few days.

I’ve got a Graphite SS 44mm with the old black Leather loop on its way with delivery date of 24th-28th September but I’ve just seen that I can get it with the Milanese loop instead which I’ve ordered separately and that has a delivery date of 22nd-24th. Should I risk this and order the Black leather loop separately instead?

Past experiences with Apple. Order shows a later date but then magically item is processed and shipped with a much earlier delivery date. Assumption is Apple’s delivery time algorithm is very conservative and plays it safe to the point it gives out inaccurate estimates.
Also, it makes the customer feel good when they see that their device will deliver 3-14 days earlier.

"Under promise, over deliver."

Why are you thinking it'll arrive long before the 28th? Mine is in the same position as your Watch, so I'm curious :)
Apple has a long history of under promising and over delivering. I’ve ordered (and pre-ordered) before and had various delivery dates that have been weeks away, only for the product to be delivered within days.

It’s ‘available Friday’ and already preparing to ship. Once it’s shipped, presumably in a day or two, it’s not going to take 10 days to deliver.

That’s what I’m hoping anyway... 😁

My First Apple Watch :)

My wife's watch and my watch moved to Preparing to Ship this morning - still 25-29 estimate tho. It had moved to Processing yesterday. Charged both of us within minutes of placing the order (Apple Cards) - (which we put in 15 mins after the event).

Jumped in just as the store came back up, so . . .

My wife (being so undecided as to what she wanted) was about 45 minutes later, but hers is showing the exact same status & delivery date. I’m anticipating the UPS delivery on Friday.

Your delivery date now makes me less confident for mine...

Only thing that’ll hold the later dates up is stock.

Ordered immediately and still have 25-29 September. Guess it’s the band. 😞

I ordered last evening (PST) and they must be selling a ton of them, as my delivery date is in late November ! I even looked at 3 or 4 different models and bands, but it didn't seem to make a difference.

Preparing to ship, though it still says Sep 25-29. I expect it to change once it actually shios.

I wonder what the difference is? My wife and I ordered our watches (mine is fairly standard with no special band) - within 15 mins of the event yesterday but some people have Friday 18 delivery, the rest of us are 25-29?

I cycled through quite a few watches and they all said September 25-29 delivery date.

I live within 10 mins of an Apple Store too. (California).
