Ordered SS Graphite with charcoal sport loop 1 hour after store went online. Got 25-29 Sep delivery and still sitting in Prepare for Shipping. Checked local store and presto, they have the same watch in stock for pickup today. Will return online order whenever it decides to arrive.

Woke up to 2 shipping notices for Mon 9/28 for my 44 titanium and SS watches. Can’t wait that long and decided after ordering Im not sure about the new woven band and I ordered the wrong size so I snagged a titanium 44 with a sports band in SF union city store for pick up today. Lunch time road trip!!!!!

Nearest apple store to me that is open is 300 miles away. So, I guess i'm waiting till next week. Best buy isn't an option, because even though they have them for pickup today, the nearest apple store is still 300 miles away for the return, and I don't want to go through the ship it back BS. I'm fine with it.
Aaaaaaaaaaand mine is shipping from China, nut uh not waiting on that. Just placed my in-store pickup order. I decided to splurge and upgrade to the new Garnet band. I will return my other one (or possibly gift it to my daughter still debating). Now I patiently wait for the store to open.....
44mm graphite was stuck in preparing to ship still, but my local store had it for pick up today. I couldn't wait any longer so I will go pickup today during lunch and return the one that comes next week haha. Was happy to see I wasn't the only one doing this lol.
I’m actually a little upset. Ordered right away, still “Preparing “. Still Sep 25-29. I was hoping to wake up this morning to some shipping news, but nope! This sucks.
Just checked this morning and my online order is still processing and still est. Sept 30th - Oct 7th. However, my local store has the config I want so I placed an order for pickup. My check in window is this afternoon. Gonna swing by during my lunch break!

I checked the UPS website and found a bunch of reference numbers, and one of them turned out to be the serial number of the watch in case you want to look that up! It is the last number in the reference number box
Ordered 3 watches on Tuesday within an hour, none expected until 29-Sep. All 3 are available for pick-up at local store, so guess I'll be re-buying all of them and taking the first orders back in a week or so.

Tons of watches are available for pickup today 20 miles away from my house. Oh well. My wife’s watch still waiting for shipping and mine says shipped with 28th expected. Would be nice if they got the shipped units out a little sooner. But my AW5 works fine. Patience is a virtue.

Will they refund as well or would I lose the money spent on AppleCare?
With so many watches available at the Apple stores it’s kind of frustrating that so many of us aren’t getting watches today because we ordered different bands than just the typical ones. And even those seemed to be very limited. My local stores closed (and 45 minutes away) so I’m just waiting till next week.

I just checked the online store. I could order the exact same one and pickup TODAY. But, I’m in “preparing”, so I can’t cancel my preorder. This is lame. Ugh.
