Yeah mostly that’s how I was feeling... didn’t mind not having it launch day / was set to have it show up next week. However, I hadn’t considered that local pickup would become available this morning when I ordered. At this point I have convinced myself that I’d like a different color band, haha. In any case— cool that you’re patient. I’m sure we could all use more of that

Sept 29th - Oct 2 delivery date for two Product Red 44mm, changed to "preparing to ship"!!
Got the email this morning... Seems really long but whatever...
If it already shipped I’d be willing to bet it won’t take anywhere near that long. Like Tuesday probably, Wednesday at the latest.
Yeah like what @ajhollobaugh said - I'm hoping ours come a bit earlier than expected. Mine says same thing as yours.
I just realized mine, which shipped out of China a few hours ago, also says Sept 28th, but I think that’s just an automated estimate from Apple. UPS isn’t showing a timeframe yet, just an origin scan. Fingers crossed for Monday. 🤞
Yes as soon as they come in - I don’t use the OEM bands anyway - I have 30 bands from bangles to designer repurposed Louis Vuitton bands.
My question is if the Best Buy Apple kiosks accept Apple Store returns?
The fedex truck was just by my house but didn’t leave anything. Maybe my watch is on another truck?

Initially had 25-29 delivery.
Didn't get a shipping notification until this morning.
Delivery was set, per Apple and UPS, for Monday 9/28.
Within hours, my estimated delivery bumped to Monday 9/21.
I'm in Los Angeles and my watch is currently bouncing around China.

Annnnd like many others, I just checked, and my exact configuration (stainless steel silver 44mm with steel link band) is available for pickup at my local Apple Store today. I wasn’t given this option on Tuesday. 😤 Oh well, I’ll just have to wait a couple of days, but how annoying nevertheless.
