Apple Watch Series 6 Shipping/Order Status Thread

Ummmmm I have two tracking numbers from Apple. One UPS and one FedEx. I ordered one Apple Watch. I’m confused.

if I get two, then cool. I’ll have them charge my card and give one to my mom. Still strange!

are you trading anything in? My watch is ups, trade in kit is fedex

Still a member of the "preparing to ship" club (3 days now). Solidarity with my fellow "Awww come on!!!!" 'ers. 🙂

My wife is in the same boat - her watch is still preparing to ship - she ordered the same time I did - right after the stream. She chose a gold aluminum 40 mm with a leather band. I chose a 44 space grey aluminum with a sports band (plain).

Monday?! I don’t have an estimated date yet on ups. Apple says 28th. I could wait til Monday no problem. hope I have your luck. I’m on east coast though so will probably take longer.

Did I order some kind of super rare combo or something? Why is my delivery not until November??? I ordered almost immediately a 44 Silver Aluminum GPS with a black braided band. 2 months for delivery?

I think it’s the braided band. I looked at just ordering that band it it doesn’t ship til November.

After ordering my watch for local pickup, I looked for a watch with braided band for my wife. And I didn’t see any braided bands for local inventory in my area in ANY of the sizes.

Whenever Apple sends a trade-in box, it shows up in my FedEx account as coming from me, which can be a bit confusing sometimes.

I ordered within half an hour. 44mm Blue Alum. with Inverness green band. It's been Preparing to Ship since Tuesday night, with no movement on that status since then. I ordered it to pick up today at my local store. Really dropping the ball on this one, Apple.

I don't understand this sentiment. Apple has always sent inventory to stores for launch day purchases. You were able to go to the store and pick up your watch, or wait for the shipping. You got your watch. How exactly did apple drop the ball?

Status went to "preparing to ship" yesterday, then to "shipped" late last night.
UPS shipping.
I'm in Northern CA, east of Sacramento, if that makes any difference.
ETA: Monday 9/21.

I cancelled my order for blue 44mm GPS with blue braided solo loop. November 23 delivery date is just too far away. Instead the Best Buy down the street has the model I want but with blue sport loop in stock and ready to pick up in an hour or so. I ordered the braided blue loop from Apple and will wait patiently for that. (still says November 23rd-ish for just the band).

I can’t speak for the OP but when I ordered on Tuesday, store pick-up was unavailable. Suddenly today, it’s available. I don’t mind waiting till Monday. In the grand scheme of things it’s a privilege to even be inconvenienced by such a minor thing, but I wish Apple hadn’t waited until today to offer that alternative, especially as it seems their in-store inventory is unusually varied and robust at the moment.

It happens every year around here. I think the decision to not have the in store option available on Tuesday had everything to do with the fact that they don't know from day to day what stores will be open or closed due to the pandemic. Safe bet is just to not include it.

Just got back from picking up my 44mm ss graphite in store, my original order which was 6 mins after launch is still preparing to ship.

Some time off but will definitely be getting the Product (Red) variant in the future-looks great!

Just got a UPS text that said my 44mm Blue is being delivered Monday, 9/21, which is better than the Apple estimate of 9/28.

I'm not worked up. It's just that this happens every year. Apple didn't drop anything.
