Apple Watch Series 6 Shipping/Order Status Thread

Noticed that Costco is selling the new Series 6; for comparison the $429 44mm GPS via Apple is $414.50 via Costco. Delivery not until 9/28 and no real selection of bands.

I checked the Apple store and found the watch I wanted in stock for pickup today. I purchased that one and cancelled my order for October 5-8 delivery.

Still preparing here and nothing with UPS yet. Guessing the XL band is what is delaying it since no stores have that in stock. Still plenty of time for Apple to make their estimated delivery dates.

Woof. Just ordered a titanium 6 and my shipping window is 11/17 - 11/23. Figured the more expensive ones would be easier to get on time.

Edit: Looks like it's the band holding everything up. I can get the Solo Loop on the same watch with a 9/30 - 10/2 window. Decisions......

Can’t be the band for my hold up and it’s still “preparing to ship” status because I ordered a second band identical to the one I purchased with the watch, and it arrived today. Very very interesting
 
Wow my local store still has a lot of different options available today still including some ss, red, and ti. I can't believe my original order didn't make it to me on launch day with the selection they have right up the road.

The braided band was available right away for me separately, but not with a watch (would have been late Oct). so I just ordered a watch with a different band and the braided one separately. Braided band arrived today, the watch will arrive this Monday.

Placed my order with Apple this morning when store pickup went live around 8am EST. Selected 11:15-11:30 as a pickup time. Arrived at 11:10am, waited in line about 5 minutes and picked up a charcoal sport loop while I was there. In and out within 15 minutes.

So Best Buy doesn’t have either the solo loop bands or even sport loop bands, just the plain sport band.

Of course I'll admit that, like most here, I was hoping to get the watch "sooner" rather than "later"! However, I'll be fine as long as it does arrive by the 23rd. I will, however, be mad if I don't get it before the 25th. REASON: I HAD a "Create Your Style" order ready but aborted when I saw delivery as "Sept 25-29".

If what Apple told you about Express Delivery is true, then theoretically our watches could ship as late as Sunday and still reach us by the 21st!
