Apple Watch Series 7 Already Facing November Delivery for Some Models

It depends on the area, mine definitely didn’t have that after a few minutes but, I bet it’s because the stores are allotted a certain amount. Usually what happens is they’ll ship to other areas that are selling through/out. Here they’re just allowing you to pick up now.

if no one really takes this pickup for this area you bet your last dollar they’ll redirect it to another store supply (or keep it on hand and then not redirect any more new to that store).

Yeah I imagine it's a logistical nightmare, the sizes, colors, and band combinations. And then there's the band sizes with the braided solo bands... It makes sense to me that the shipping times get pushed back so quickly - ordering one of these watches gets so specific as you select your options.

I'm in Atlanta, and it looks like if you are good with a band that wasn't just introduced recently or isn't sized super specifically, the malls around here still have stock on the 15th.

If anyone reading this is bummed with the shipping dates, I would recommend mixing up your band combination and see if you can pick it up on the 15th. Worth a shot, anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I constantly force quit the app at 8am EST and store came up a couple minutes after. Immediately it said Titanium 41m has no add to cart button. I was confused then saw under delivery said unavailable. I spent about 1-2 minutes closing the app and trying again, then I decided to try a strap other than charcoal, and while green and a few others also said unavailable found the purple one showed the button, so think it was just that some bands weren't available even from the start. Delivery says Nov 2. If it wasn't for the strap confusion, perhahps I could have gotten a couple weeks earlier but I think there weren't any titanium available for launch day. When I checked several other models such as sport and hermes said mid november launch dates. So I'm sure there were some configs with launch day avaiability but seems many were not. Where this years watch is one of the most minor upgrades for people upgrading from last year, I imagine rather than incredibly high demand was a supply chain issue where as was rumoured limited numbers were made.

Seems like the Aluminum models held out the longest before slipping dates - even that is not saying much though. I saw one person who ordered a standard Midnight configuration by 7:15 and their order had already slipped to the end of the month. I was able to place my order for a standard Midnight configuration by 7:05 and still got a 10/15. Looks like the SS and Titanium models slipped delivery dates almost immediately.

Most of the models and configurations were never available for launch day. No one is getting a stainless model delivered before November. What a crock.

We are living in extremely tough times at the moment. It's just sad that so many of us have to endure this level of suffering. Stay strong buddy!

I would of but I had to start over because of some confusion on my end. Went from 10/15 to 11/2 right after that.

This is just sad! Sad to say… Expecting Apple watches to be delayed till December. Any Space Black Titanium AW was able to get a promised launch date from the beginning?

Yep well ordered my new watch and it was 10/15 till I had to fiddle with card info, seems my card with new 13 ProMax loans changed card numbers and I had to re-enter that, then wanted to use my visa check card for this but that was not in current wallet, I guess it goes to old status or such when I transfered everything from 12 ProMax to 13 so had to update that and of course by then mine slipped to same date of 10/26 to 10/28. I actually hope it stays and does not come week early as I have conflicts.

I was immediately on the ATT app to upgrade and the SS with Milanese was Nov 1-8. I'm really hoping those are worst case scenario and it comes a little earlier.

Any chances, does anyone think?

I think that was the first delivery available. I was on there right at 8 and that was the time frame.

I mean it's classic elegant finish why to pair with hideous band..

of course not, was there a pandemic going on, shortage of chips, rolling black-outs in China and high consumer demand with such issues? That is why you don't remember being like this when the S6 was released.

Thanks to this disastrous release, I will surely skip series 7 and wait for series 8 next year.

If I want to upgrade, it’d be Christmas or early next year, when stock situation improves.

I have 10/26 to 10/28 also but mine is aluminum only my first watch way back was stainless and have been happy with aluminum models since it

Place an order for 2 watches at 5:02. both stated delivery for the 18th. Went back to look at the order to check something and the 45 midnight with cell is now pushed till November. Odd that they would change the date after it was Nola Ed for an 18th delivery. Doesn’t surprise me. may just cancel it and grab it instore while on a work trip otherwise maybe I’ll wait. My S4 seems to be holding up.

just cancelled my 45 Midnight order that was said to be delayed and placed one for the Nike version and picking it up while out of town on a work layover in Manhattan.
Available the 15th at 🍎 seems like I e seem many different versions available in store. It may not have the band you want but swap it with your older or grab another.

I got the exact same combo, early, with the same date. I don’t think stainless steel ever had an earlier shipping date.

In fact when you try to order it now, its expected shipping time has been pushed back to November 8-15.

I got a stainless silver with silver milanese in 41mm. Ordered a few minutes after open. It seemed like the 45mm ss silver was unavailable from start, but the 41 was available.

I love the hyperbole in these threads....makes for an entertaining morning. I usually get Aluminum cellular, but really don't like any of the colors. I was going to get a SS, but then noticed the titanium wasn't much more so decided to splurge for that. Delivery date of Nov 2-9. Not thrilled, but I can wait a few extra weeks I guess.
