Ordered 2 45mm Aluminum Blues right on time and still got an Oct 26 delivery date…I do not think Apple has a lot of inventory….

45mm Space Black Titanium Apple Watch Series 7 with Size 9 Abyss Blue Braided Solo Loop (quite a mouthful) - Nov 2-9. Seems like VERY limited launch day supplies as expected.

The trade in values are criminal. $145 for my titanium Series 5. You’ll easily get double on EBay, but convenience has its price I suppose.

I got two aluminum models delivering Oct 26–28. The annoying thing is that store pickup was available for the 15th but not at the closest location, only at the one that’s 30–40 minutes away.

That was a painful experience.
Trying to navigate the gallery in order to get the right match of case, colour, strap style etc on the phone was just too much effort so switched to the website when it eventually came up.

Couldn't decide which Titanium to get (I need the extra ruggedness due to my work) eventually went for Black.

Delivery date not until Nov 10 - 15 which I guess gives me plenty of time to change my mind.

Hmmm... I wonder if in-store pickup would have made a difference to the date...

Wasn't even available for delivery near me, weird. Kept refreshing, thinking that it was a mistake that in-store pickup was the only option, but now not even available, period. Wasn't worth getting up early for this.

No sport band option for stainless steel. Leather bands only available in 41mm. No in store pick up.
Fail.

You can choose a Sport Band with the Stainless Steel models - just tap the ‘Create your style’ button in the Apple Store app.

Ordered 45 mm stainless steel with midnight sport band (as its one of the cheapest stainless steel options). Delivery for my order 3-10 November.

I'm pretty confident I'll have it before the end of this month, as Apple's delivery dates always seem to be on the conservative side in my experience.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the same combo that I chose last year, was £50 cheaper this year with the Series 7

Some revolting band colours for blue aluminium case. Sports band only available for starlight and midnight. Why do I have to pay another £49 for a sports band? As it happens none of the sports band colours go well with blue case.

Anyone else wish there was a simple silver aluminium? Starlight doesn't bother me on the iPad as I just put it in one case and that's it but I've got so many bands that go great with silver but not feeling it with starlight.

Locked in and done. Used the Apple Store App, and off & running a few seconds after the App updated & allowed orders.

Nike GPS 45mm aluminum Midnight black. Process went smooth except for trying to use Apple Pay and apply an already existing credit to the balance. Got it to go through and accept both around 7 minutes after launch.

Estimated delivery October 15. Will be a nice replacement for my S3 which had its screen pop off months ago.

Order placed at 5:22. Took time to go through options, enter trade-in information. Looks as if supplies are limited since it's two weeks after first delivery. Aluminum seems to be the case which may ship out on release date.

Well I tried AT&T and could only find aluminum.

So I jumped to Apple, and I ordered a Titanium 45mm (only available in the dark color as far as I could tell). I wanted the other color this time around. Delivery won't be until Nov 2-9th. I know this is a pre-order, but that seems a long way out.

I guess the "constraint" rumors are true. Ha, wait until I find out the Apple Store near me will have more choices and faster availability before Nov 2-9th (my online order deliver window). I think I've seen this happen with my Apple iPhone orders. When will I ever learn! 🙃

Update: I was wrong about AT&T about only finding aluminum. I had to click the various color dots, to find an alternative to aluminum. I still couldn't find Titanium. I cancelled the Apple order, and just ordered the stainless graphite from AT&T.
