You have to 'create your own' to get a Titanium for the 'base' price, with a sport band. That's what I did and my total was $849 for the 45mm.
So you didn’t really care what one you got, just as long as you got it right away?
This was me thinking about upgrading my apple watch and then remembering “I’m not rich” lol
no. Order now and figure out bands later is what I’d do. Maybe you’ll spend twice for bands - oh well.
I bought one outright and have no charge showing and bought a second on the monthly plan and that has a charge, FWIW.
I’d say that’s right for most preorder people. It’s same electronics. Exception might be for red or other bright colors
it’s like choosing vinyl floor tile - you barely ever notice the color of the floor in commercial office space.
titanium 45. Space black Oct 15 pickup. Delivery was into November, so I bought with pickup.
I'm not being allowed to add to bag. The option is grayed out. Starlight aluminum sport band and other options I've tried. (EDIT) that was for the bright blue band small size. Others are working. It's dumb that they don't indicate availability of options and let you do all that selection work to be denied.

I noticed that if you choose a Series 6 band, it will not give you the option for delivery, and now no option to add to bag either. You can still order a Series 7 watch with a Series 7 (new) band, just delayed now. Also, you can order a Series 6 band for delivery, which makes all of this weird.
I ended up ordering a titanium S7 w/ a golden brown leather band and then a saddle brown leather band as well, hoping the Apple Store will resolve this after I get everything.

Same thing happened to me. It said October 15th delivery and by the time I double clicked power button and approved purchase with Face ID it now says October 25th. I find apple usually ships before estimated date they give so here's hoping. Either way I am fine with 10 days after release. Could be worse.
There might be production issues or delays, so that they don't know when some of them will be available. If that's the case, they'd probably rather not make it available, than have people order and possibly have to extend the delivery time later.
