Bond would NEVER wear a "loser" beam.

Goldfinger would have the watch made with a 24k gold custom casing.

So that means some units were made and passed and are now sitting in wait? I might wait a few months with this one and see how it pans out. I would like a new Apple Watch, but September or November doesn't make a big difference.

"Design," as in, the new watch will have a complex design, refers to a lot more than the industrial design or shape of the housing. This could be an issue with placement of components or assembly procedures/tools, which is why it only showed up once units were being assembled at scale and quality tested (and failing).

Hopefully the production stop is brief so we can at least get the announcement and specs in the next couple of weeks. Anxious to upgrade from my S6, which looks too much like my old S4.

Limited supply! Hurry hurry, order immediately on launch day!

PTT has already been implemented in a number of consumer products like Samsung Galaxy Watch.
Samsung Watch uses Pulse Wave Analysis and needs to be calibrated against a traditional cuff BP device first. It works by comparing its reading against the calibrated value. It is not a direct and absolute way of measuring BP but gives an idea.
