Thanks for all the input. I went to store today and tried on- the silver SS is good, but quite run of the mill.

I ended up walking out thinking the SBSS black stainless steel is the go because it does look quite sleek and has a slightly futuristic look to it which I kind of like. So I think this is what I’ll get.

Interestingly I thought the 44mm is the right option and can just get away with it looking alright on my wrist size. Here is a photo.

I just find the SBSS looks bigger for some reason.

After seeing the Gold SS in person just now it is a fantastic addition to a corporate attire wardrobe. The brown/bronze hue is going to look fantastic with gray and navy suits.

Cant wait!

I wasn’t originally going to, but I also am ordering the gold stainless 44 MM. Really I do like the way to gold looks based off the photos, As I have not seen one yet in person. But I have been requesting a gold stainless with Apple Watch since the Series 2. But I can also switch this up with my black stainless as well. Downside, the gold stainless is back ordered until mid/late October.

As I have not seen one yet in person.

Go see it as soon as you can as photos dont do it justice. Easily the best looking AW to date in my opinion and i've owned them all from SBSS and SS all the way to aluminum.

Such a perfect color and so many bands look good with it which i was shocked at in trying them on in the store.

Mine is the beginning of october but place and order and I bet it will bump up as we have seen. Happy hunting.

I am not a person who has ever liked gold stuff but the gold on the Apple Watch series 4 is fantastic. Saw in person today but they did not have any in stock. So I will wait a month for my delivery. Sigh.

Stainless steel silver for sure. That what I see most executives wearing. That said, I don’t think that wearing a different color or model means you aren’t professional.

I wear a SS with silver Milanese loop most of the time with a conservative business suit, and I think it looks very sharp. I also sometimes pair it with a black Milanese loop, which works surprisingly well since it matches the black face of the watch.

I am thinking about
A) getting the silver SS with the silver milanese
Or
B) getting the silver SS and buy the black milanese separately.

Which milanese Loop do you like better on your SS? What would you recommend if you could only have one milanese Band?

Thanks!

I like the SS w/ silver Milanese. It will go with more work clothes and suits.

Pick the one that makes you feel most comfortable. Like most things about style, it has to do with how confidently *you* carry the accessory. If you pick something you like, you'll project that air of comfort and be fine.

Just wondering what everyone's recommendations are on which Apple Watch style/color, wearing it in a office/business setting with a suit.

I guessed stainless steel space grey (aka black look) - is most versatile for wearing in both office and out at night/casual...probably paired with a milanese black band?

Is anyone considering the stainless steel gold option for predominant wearing in the office...I thought it might look good as well?

Want to see what options others recommend whether it be aluminium, stainless steel, and then black, gold or silver - and what watch band you pair it with !

I am going for 40mm because my wrist size is fairly small. I am a 33 y/o male. My company style is pretty modern/relaxed but I still want to look professional.

Professionally, You can style any watch with a matching metal band, even a nice knockoff from amazon works well. The simple, clean looks always works well for me. I’ve had the stainless steel with link bracelet, space black with a black link bracelet, and just got the series 4 aluminum in gold I’m going to find a matching metal band for.

I went with the gold SS with Milanese loop. I was worried that I wouldn't think it looked good enough to wear to work, but it actually looks amazing. I have no worries about wearing it with a suit.

Tough call because I like different things about both, but with a suit I'd have to say silver. You just see a little bit of the watch peeking out from your shirt sleeve most of the time so the shininess of the silver is nice in that situation. By contrast, the black-with-silver look is a bit less dressy and a little more understated.

I always loved the Silver Stainless Steel with Link bracelet. First time I saw this combo with a suit jacket was actually Law and Order SVU a few months after the Apple Watch release. The one detective had it on and I just thought it was nice. It "pops" out, but it's not too flashy.

Photos may be lousy examples, but it's all I could find.

There is Nothing classier than Apples link bands. I own both the black and regular stainless bands, and nothing even compares to the business attire with those two bands paired with the stainless Apple Watch.

Nooooo... Get rid of that screen protector! It’s ugly and you don’t need it. My series 0 stainless steel watch has tons of scratches on the sides, and I’ve accidentally banged it against metal doors and such plenty of times, but the screen is still pristine. Absolutely flawless. The screen on the SS watches is mind-bogglingly strong. Unlike the cheaper aluminum watch screens.
