Apple Watch Style/Color for corporate look

I have worn the link bracelet with the S0 since 2015, and now I'm getting the 40mm SS whenever Apple can be bothered to send it which I'll use with the same bracelet. Not other combo looks as good or goes with EVERYTHING like this does.
 
Any guys have the gold SS yet? Quick look in person it was gorgeous and I have it on order for myself and my wife but since the wait is so long I am second guessing mine.

I have it. It is a gorgeous stunning watch color. The gold reflection is just beautiful. It fits for corporate business environment where I am also. I love it. I hope you do.

It was put on quickly yesterday. Has been removed and placed on correctly. Didn’t have time to do it properly yesterday before I went out.

I have it also. I actually got the Silver SS on launch day. I saw the Gold when I was in the Apple store, but they didn't have the Gold so I stuck with my original Silver order.

I wore it for the next 24 hours, but couldn't forget how good the Gold looked in person. I also didn't like "being stuck" with the white band. For grins I opened the Apple App the day after launch, and there was a SS Gold with sports band. I snagged it.

Some people say the watch is too pink, but me and my wife would describe the color closer to a copper or bronze gold, than a Rose Gold.

I've tried it with all my old bands. The SS Gold looks great with most of the bands, even some with Silver lugs. The Silver Milanese band looks very good with the Gold. My white/Nike looks very good with it. A leather band looks good even with the silver hardware. Of course a leather band with gold lugs would look a little better. My blue sport and loop bands look good.

I ordered a 3rd party black Milanese band. I think this will look great when I have important meetings. For now, the Silver Milanese will work great for that.

It will take a month or two, but I think the Amazon vendors start selling a Gold Milanese band that matches the Series 4 Gold. That looks very nice in person.

I’m coming from a series 0 space gray so any stainless models are going to feel great. I’m back and forth between the traditional silver and the gold, but that gold in person looked fantastic. Casetify has a gold Milanese. Not sure if it’ll match the series 4 though.
 
One of my company’s VPs have the black ceramic with black link bracelet and it looks amazing. Another one has the SBSS with black milanese and it also looks very sharp.

As a woman, my favorite combo is SS with milanese loop. My S3 is silver aluminum and I can’t wait for my silver SS S4 to come in so I can wear it with my milanese loop
 
Regular/silver stainless steel is always a classic look for watches. Ditto a black leather strap.

So that's what I'd go for, if you're in a suit or tie each day.

However:

Milanese might work if you're able to be a little casual.

The link strap would definitely work - but that's a lot of money.

You’re right, they are expensive. If someone was looking at alternative, third-party manufactures *almost* make identical link bands similar to Apples, but they are somewhat thicker, and they likely won’t meet the manufacture specifications in terms of quality that are of Apples either. There are replicas that are difficult to tell apart by looking at them at a quick glance.
 
I got multiple leather 3th party bands in different colors to match my shoes/belt. Used to have a black Series 0, now I went for the silver Series 4. Both look great with all the bands...

FWIW...used a film-type screen protector when I got my S3 last fall - hated the feel. Bought the Zagg curved glass screen protector when it came out - it shattered quite quickly. Replaced that with the "elite" Zagg glass version, which also shattered quite quickly. Since I had AC+, I decided to take a chance and ditch the screen protectors. In a year, I had no scratches or other damage. With the S4, I'll go naked again (and haven't bought AC+ yet, and probably won't).

Got my SBSS 44mm Milanese Apple watch and must say that I am very happy with the style choice! It seems like there is no right or wrong answer and it's best to get what ever you are happiest with and click with best!

Have a 44 GSS on order as I thought it was the most versatile for both black and brown style choices. Now after seeing SBSS photos with brown leather bands I am not sure. Truly no bad choices I suppose.
 
I think the silver SS is probably the most “classy” style, but my problem is that I need something for the office as well as for the gym and I don’t think shiny silver will look right in the gym. SBSS is probably the right choice for me.

Someone said it earlier and I agree, the SBSS looks like a larger watch for some reason than the rest. That bothers me a little.

But really though... who actually cares what you look like at the gym? Silver SS with a sport band is perfectly fine. I mean it even comes with one.

I agree. I’ve had all 3 colours of SS over the years and it’s easily paired with a sport band or sport loop for the gym. No one really cares anyways.

I really can't imagine that anyone at the gym is going to care whether the watch is SS, SB, gold, or even fuchsia! 🙂 The SS does have a way or sort of disappearing. It looks smaller than SB, IMO.

Agree. Or get a Nike band!
 
I've had both...both are equally sharp, but my personal preference is the SBSS. To me, it's the best looking, but that's just me, you gotta get what suits you best. I agree with the others that say it really doesn't matter...any reasonable combo will go over well in a corporate environment.
