Apple Watch Ultra 2 Already Facing 6-7 Week Shipping Delay for Some Configurations

AWU2 is an unbelievable device. I am not surprised savvy customers are racing to buy them up.

Mine is coming on launch day.

It's cool / cool looking for sure. I am just not sold on smart watches in general. Wish they would release a separate fitness band with some LED's for notifications.

I was ready to order but I am still concerned about battery life. It's a shame there is no configuration that allows batteries in the bands.

Yawn, this isn't much of an upgrade over the original ultra. Delays for bands, SMH.

Most of the upgrades were under the hood, which was fine with me. I've had my AWU since March. I didn't really expect there to be big changes.

The new Ultra watch face is available for the AWU 1. which is cool. I'm using it right now and I like it.

My big order this year is the 15PM....

I think if they do ever release a black version the orange parts would be red but who knows. Guess we will have to wait until next year.

Same for me. I already decided last year I was going for the Apple Watch Ultra 2 because the AW Ultra 1 had the same chip as my Apple Watch Series 6.

I’m US mountain time. Those 1 am launches were dumb.

That said, I’m probably alone when I say that I miss queueing up in line at a brick & mortar store. Take all of the launch day energy in these forums, remove the ability to pre-order, put all of that energy neediness in a physical line and you get a party. They were super fun. The best community-building. That ‘07 iPhone queue was pinnacle Apple.
Glad I experienced those.

I preferred it. Then only the hardcore are fighting. By 8AM Eastern, you are also fighting the riff raff. Just set an alarm for 245AM, pumped refresh, ordered and went back to sleep.
