Anyone know what filming location they used behind the Apple manager talking about the AWU 2? The manager wearing athletic red jacket

Thanks

I hope Apple Watch Ultra 3 will be completely black, without the ugly orange buttons
It's on the site. The same orange features are carried over to the black model. (I misread your post, apologies.) You're speaking of next year.

Ordered the Hermes. Because I had the Hermes 4. Then the Hermes 7. So keep the theme. Every 3 years change.

Pretty lazy updates in some respects in my opinion.

1: The flagship Apple Watch model (Ultra) now will have last year's S9 chip whereas the standard model will have this year's S10 chip. Just doesn't make sense to me.

2: AirPods Max has been out since 2020. And the only thing Apple have done have introduced new colours and a USB C connector, but not other internal improvements.

Confused. Apple said Ultra 2 getting sleep apnea detection. Is that for CURRENT users? Or a whole new release under Ultra 2 but with S10 chip?!?!
The Ultra 2 has the S9 chip. Just looked on the website now as I thought Apple may not have mentioned it (would have been unlikely) but the Ultra 2 shows S9 chip and the Series 10 shows S10 chip.

A name change for the SIP from S9 to S10 hasn’t always meant it was faster. Unless I missed it, I didn’t hear anything about speed improvements over the S9.

It’s possible that the S9 and S10 have the similar or even the same processing power but it is other variables that triggered the name change.
So right now the AW10 is superior to ultra?
This is the most important question yet to be fully answered.

S10 vs. S9 chip - ANY differences or none?

So right now the AW10 is superior to ultra?
Not when it has half the battery life of the Ultra and also the Ultra 2 has 1000 more nits (at 3000) than the AW10 2000 nits. And in direct sunlight the 3000 nit brightness really is noticeable in my opinion.

When I first got the Ultra, the double battery life (to name one) was what made me get it over the standard model.

Even now with the Series 10, I still find the design is a bit stale with its curved screen, whereas the Ultra is a completely different look.

As for the black, I still have my doubts as to how scratch resistant it will be, especially for a rugged device. I would wait to see how well it holds up for reviewer tests and real user feedback. That being said, I'm actually not that crazy about how it looks. There is just something really nice about raw titanium that I can't seem to put into words. Same for the iPhone Pro. I used to be the guy getting the black iPhone all the time, but natural titanium has stolen my heart.

The Ultra has a handsome ruggedness to it that does not come across well in photos. In person it looks great, especially paired with the more rugged looking ultra bands.

Yes that would be my concern too. I too am not a fan of the black and prefer the natural/raw titanium colour.
Even with the Series 10, I find the design is a bit stale (think its the curved glass and the similar case look it has had since way back). Whereas the Ultra just looks completely different and I much prefer it's flat glass screen.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2, Apple Watch Hermès Ultra 2, and the new Titanium Milanese Loop are available for pre-order today, starting at $799, with launch on September 20.
Please change to wording. The Milanese Loop doesn't cost anywhere near $799.

I have an Apple Watch Ultra Gen 1 and was considering upgrading to the Apple Watch Ultra 3 but they are sticking with Ultra 2 for another year. I do want the sleep apnea feature and it's a shame original Apple Watch Ultra users aren't getting it via software. I just can't justify upgrading just for that one feature smh.

Well the black ti version of the Ultra 2 had shipping slip to mid October literally two minutes after sales went live. So somebody must like them! (Me!). Then again, I am trading in an Ultra 1 so I was ready for a change.
