Apple Watch Ultra Band Back Log Is Crazy

They are prioritising the bands to go with the watches hence the delay
Yeah I check daily and the dates now are mid November, so I doubt we will see much better for now
It is disappointing and frustrating that the Trail Loops by themselves still aren’t available. That said if the supply is as bad as it is I don’t think it unreasonable for Apple to bundle what supply they can get with the watches.
I am shocked that Apple would offer the bands at an earlier date than what those who ordered weeks ago got. That is just stupid. It's a complete disregard for customer service.
It is. I expected the "Arrives" date to have been updated...nope. This was the second time the new order's shipping date moved to a sooner date.
BTW my initial order was on Oct 3 (Dec 1-9 arrival date).
A week and half ago a new order had a Nov 19-25 date.
Now they are at Nov 9-16
I think of the three colour options the black/grey probably has the greatest demand and smallest supply. At least that’s my unscientific observation. I think the black/grey is the most desirable. I do hope they come out with more colour options in the future.
If you check out some of the other posts in the forum, it looks like you can get the M/L Black/Grey Trail Loop from T-Mobile and the S/M Black/Grey Trail Loop from Verizon, both shipping immediately (as of 2pm CT today).
I check the Apple Store in Charlotte daily to see if I can luck out, I did with the watch but no luck yet for a Trail Loop band lol. So far Im still on the 11/2-11/9 date.
Its Ridiculous. I'm glad I ordered a couple with the watch. I ended up canceling my online order and getting the watch in person at an apple store, then left my extra band stay on order.

This might be the first time in my experience with Apple where they don't meet their date range for delivery. I'm signed up with UPS, FedEx, USPS & none have anything that is from Apple. The order shows standard shipping & the outside date is November 1st. I checked & my store has them in stock now so I'm going to get one from there & return the other when it finally gets here.
If you think this sucks I took a couple of my automatic mechanical watches in for service recently and for one (a GMT-II) the jeweller says that there's a 20 year backlog on orders for a new one.
All that to protect what is now an investment made 20 years or so ago and I wore them every day but not since Apple Watch
And yes, the service cost for each was certainly quite a lot more than some Apple Watches - combined more than the Ultra!

I was right - Apple sent me a new delivery date for my S/M beige trail loop. It was Oct 26 - Nov 1. It's now Nov 3 - Nov 4th. I'm really disappointed in Apple. They prioritized new sales over delivering to those who ordered weeks ago.
Mine just bumped same as yours this morning. More delays on the blue/grey trail loop.
I ordered the black-gray trail loop on day one and still have a delivery date of Nov 4-18. This is the widest delivery window I’ve received for any product. The grey-blue has a delivery day of Tuesday so I ordered it even though I’m not totally convinced I’ll keep it. The beige-yellow is in stock at my local store but I’m not spending $99 something I don’t really care for but would have considered it for $49. I hope they release new color options before next spring.
If you’re looking for just the Gray/Black loop, Verizon may still have some. I ordered on Wednesday and received yesterday. Size was S/M. Product page doesn’t indicate current stock though.
