Apple Watch Ultra Band Back Log Is Crazy

Pre-Ordered a watch with black grey trail loop on launch day with a late Oct delivery. Walked into a store on launch day and they had one with orange Alpine in stock so grabbed it, cancelled my watch order and placed a separate order for the black/ grey trail loop only. Became a late Nov delivery.

No big deal as I had the watch and was fine wearing the Alpine for a few months. Except…the orange alpine gets dirty really quickly.

Been watching store inventory with no luck. Happen to be in NYC today and walked into 5th Ave flagship store. They had the Black/ grey in S/M in stock. Grabbed one and am very happy. They also had the M/L in stock.

Guy said stock varies a lot but they’re starting to get more in recently. Just checked online stock and all stores in Manhattan have both sizes.

Checked online stock at my local store in VA and says Nov 23rd. Which is better than the Dec 3rd it was saying before.

It looks like the S/M size has earlier dates. My S/M preorder has a date of 5th-12th November. It’s been there since I preordered. I had cancelled my previous preorder as it was showing later dates in November at the time.

I do keep checking my local Apple stores daily in case one of them has one in stock for pick up but I’ve not had any luck so far. I’m hoping mine delivers on the 5th although if it’s being shipped by Royal Mail it might get delayed due to the strikes next week.

Yeah those Royal mail strikes can impact on delivery dates. I’ve not seen any trail bands in any of the Apple Stores in the UK. They just are in such short supply. I’ve never known anything like it for Apple bands

I think the odd one has shown up here and there as I’ve seen a few people post on these forums that they got one. Also I saw at least one available the other day for pick up in the Apple Store in Lakeside Shopping Centre, Thurrock. Unfortunately it was too far for me to go pick up.

Got my Yellow/Beige Trail Loop today!! Was well worth the wait. Damn this thing is comfortable. I love my White Ocean Band but for sitting at my desk working, this band is so much for comfortable!!
 
Now I love the yellow/beige one I got yesterday, I just ordered the black/Gray lol, That shows Nov. 22nd at the earliest.

Now it shows January, I placed an order Friday night, then cancelled it cause I second guessed if I needed a second Trail Loop Band, and now the Black/Gray went from November 22nd when I ordered Friday to mid January when I wanted to re order on Saturday, so they are not catching up.
