Apple Watch Ultra Friday Availability

I have a next door neighbor that is one of the East Coast Business Development Managers. We discussed it last night. I was told none anywhere on launch day. They were told but then ot wind there are a few that would show up in the photo op stores in CA.

But there will be Apple Watch ultras available for purchase just non trail band models right ?

This is not very clear

You say none anywhere on launch day.

In another post, you say just orange Alpine band.

I am on the East Coast. Presuming your information is actually correct what are you being told about Apple Store availability today?

BDM was wrong. Plenty of stock for in-store pickup in other countries, and the U.S. will follow.

Stock just opened up for my local Apple Store (Freehold NJ)

No Ultra watches available of any kind for 50 miles
 
Not seeing any availability for any watch across VA/Dc area Apple Stores. I know the store mgr in central VA and said he’d be surprised if there are any in-store for a while (other than demos for the floor).

Welp... Looks like I may have a short turnaround time on eating my words. My apologies. Looks like they were right...... Unless stock availability continues to refresh, looking like nobody has stock in the U.S. Color me surprised.
 
Not seeing any availability (orange alpine and black trail) in the NYC area either.

edit: black ocean band widely available in NYC area.

edit 2: now Ultra with orange Alpine showing up

Scratch that!!! In the course of 2 mins I now show availability. Order placed and picking up at 10am ET.

I just ordered in DC for 10am pickup today. Go, go, go!
 
Just scored a green alpine medium south of Boston. Didn’t even attempt a trail loop out of fear I’d lose out on anything.

Pickup at 11!

I went with medium because I have 172mm wrists (size 8 on the solo). Was worried I’d be too close on the low end of the large.

Another quick note — thanks to you all, the trail loop strategy worked flawlessly. Trail loops are unavailable everywhere, including just the bands themselves. Nothing in Greater Boston.

I’m also feeling confident with the medium choice. Seems to fit right in the range. I’ll shut up now.
 
I have two on order for pickup tomorrow. Now to decide which band I want (and which to cancel)

Around 745 ET it changed from available 9/23 to not available at my local store. Then about 5-10 minutes later I checked again and BOOM available for pickup at my local Apple store today! Medium Alpine Loop. Picking it up at 10am!
