I had this issue when I first set up my Ultra 2. I ended up doing a unpair/reset and 'set up as new watch', and now everything works fine.

I had this issue in three previous beta versions, but in the RC build it got sorted out. And yes I did report this in Feedback. 3 times.

Yep I have issue.

My workaround was change from “My Location” to just using home town as default” so far 24 hours and no blank complication. Not what I want though.

Yup, happening with my Apple Watch. Sadly the 24 hour toggle solution doesn't work. What I did find works for me, but only for a short time, is setting a location versus using "My Location" - that seems to resolve it, but only for a short time.

Been posting about this since watch 10 beta launced. Someone on reddit finally found a fix for me.
You have to do this
Settings > display & brightness > always on > complications data > turn all on.

For some reason watch os 10 turn display complications data off for me.

Working normal now.
Just wanted to say that this worked for me. Toggled it off and on. Weather immediately refreshed on the watch, displaying the temp.

Has anyone had issues with connecting their AirPods Pro to their Apple Watch? Not sure if upgrading the phone to iPhone 15 pro max has done this. AirPods work with the phone, iPad etc, but it can’t be seen or discovered via the watch. I am on a ultra with watch OS 10

I'm having the same problem on the Ultra 2, but it's intermittent. Sometimes it shows, sometimes it doesn't.
Just going to "Display & Brightness --> Always On --> Show Complications Data" makes it sync (the setting was already On).

This is definitely something else people with issues should check.

I originally had this issue in OS9 with weather and world clock not displaying sunrise and sunset times.

I think there are a number of variables that disable the widget and any combination of one or more will cause it not to work.

I don't remember how I resolved it in OS9 but I do remember it kept defaulting to My Location when I didn't want it to.

Then I upgraded to OS10 and while the weather app was fine my sunrise sunset time blanked out.

I had to turn on the privacy setting for world clock to get it to work.

In OS9 I was able to turn these settings on and then off again and it would just default to the last location used. It seems OS10 doesn't do that.

Happening to me too. I have a forecast complication along with chance of rain, and they're blank until I tap them to manually open up the weather app. Very annoying. Setting my hometown instead of using location seems to help, but even that doesn't work for long. It'll work for a few hours but then they're blank again, they don't seem to update.

They should concentrate on being a software house, and not a woke PC nest.

You should focus on looking at the real issues and stop focusing on politics where it's not there. This about the watch, stop shoehorning your beliefs into an unrelated discussion.

I don't work in software or IT, but even I know it's not as simple as you make it out to be.

Woke is a good trigger word. I see it, I block.

Yes, flipping this switch seems to have helped so far, more so than the other workarounds.

Mine wasn't there when I woke up and now it's back. I didn't do anything because I already know the weather sucks today, as it has for several days now.

That's what many users don't understand. They think once a feature is working, it will keep working forever. Meanwhile, they want Feature X, Y and Z added.

Software is not that compartmentalized. It's very interwoven. Adding a new feature can break an old feature.

It's amazing how well Apple devices work given how complex they are.
This is why testing and qa exist…

Easy fix for me. I've had this happen before and the solution was posted in an Apple forum years ago.

go into your phone - disable Location Services completely.

immediately enable Location Services.

within seconds the weather complications will work, and will work forever.

(I just seem to need to do this every time there is a new yearly WatchOS major update)
