Folks. If you ordered in April you are about to get a bump forward in your estimated delivery date. Basically, nearly everyone who has an expected delivery of March 22 has either received their watch or it is preparing for shipment. So the March 22 period folks are going to be fulfilled by the end of this week. Apple has basically given everyone after that a June 22 shipment period. Guess what? Apple isn't going to stop delivering watches for a month between March 22 and June 22. Therefore many of the June 22 folks are going to get another email, probably be the end of this week, updating their shipment period.

I'm sure if you pre-ordered, then you will get your watch before it is broadly available in stores. Now if you ordered after April 24, well then maybe you won't.

I hope that is the case, but who is to say that they're not going to use the 42mm SS watches they manufacture for the next few weeks to supply orders for bands other than the BSB now that they've caught up on the May orders? We may be in for a 3 week drought while they use the 42mm SS watches they produce to fulfill link bracelets or leather bands.

Oh Timmy

Tough to say. Maybe that will happen. Certainly the Link and some leather folks are still way behind. But the Link is so pricey that I really doubt that it was ordered in anything close to the volume as the BSB. But we do know that nearly everyone who got a March 22 shipment window is going to get their watch ahead of that date. Assuming the rest of the March 22 folks are not far behind, then it will take some sort of radical redirection of product to not satisfy the June 22 folks ahead of schedule, because there really aren't many people left with definitive order windows ahead of us.

Question for the group. Has Apple missed an order window yet? Like was someone given an April 24 to March 8 shipment window and didn't get their watch until after the window closed? If Apple is never missing any windows, then it is clear they are being really conservative in their estimates.

I pretty much use mine as just a plain old watch. I've turned off the majority of the notifications.

Uhm... then what do you actually need it for? You could have gotten a thinner lighter and less battery-hungry watch with a great design for less than half the price.

The notifications are the whole point of having the Watch in the first place.

Pretty certain they haven't. It's being played perhaps overly safe.

Nope. But with the Space Black watches they started not shipping an order on the first day of its window. Now there are still people with May 13-27th windows that have missed the two bulk shipments, the latest probably being the last shipment this week for that model, meaning they are either going to get those orders out at the absolute last moment or they are going to miss their window. It was a mistake for them to say "many orders will be shipping earlier than their estimates and some windows are pessimistic" without clarifying which watches would absolutely not be shipping weeks early (SS Links, Space Blacks, Modern Buckles, etc.) to keep expectations in check.

Yes, definitely bummer for the folks who were very on the fence about their band. The Space Black SS folks only had the one choice. But I'd be upset if it made a difference if you ordered the Watch with Modern Buckle and WSB on side, versus Watch with WSB and Modern Buckle on the side.

And on top of this, since the there are now third party lugs that allow the use of most regular watch bands, you've got to figure that the way to go is just to buy the cheapest version of your watch and then get third party band of your choosing.

Yeah, nice and stuff but how many generations for an iPhone-free Apple Watch?

If they are in stores before I get my preorder from 4/11 I'm canceling my order. I know they won't care but that will be completely unacceptable.

This is what the Olde English Writer's Guild was thinking of when they coined the phrase "cutting one's nose to spite one's face".

So, the question is.....When in June? will they be early June? I would imagine, just guessing tho, it would be early June in stores. I would also guess that everyone's April orders will be fully fulfilled by the end of May.

I know it to late but just because Apple Watch will be available in sorrows starting June doesn't mean EVERY model will be available for immediate or even occansional purchase.

I have a hard time believing the stores will have stock of the SSSB or SSLB watches because they are so get behind on shipments. AWSSG is probably gonna be the same.

My guess is the only watches we will see in any appreciable quantities are the 38mm WSB SS and BCB SS because are shipping fastest right now.

My guess is as watches get down to a 1-2 week shipping window then they will start showing up in stores.

Really this isn't any different then when various iPhone models are back ordered for several weeks and occasionally show up in actual stores.

I've gotten three Apple Watches ordered on different dates. Launch going well over here. :)

Store launch may just be Sport model.

So people will he able to walk into a store and buy the Watch basically at the same time when my Watch that I preordered on the first day will be delivered??

My guess is that some combinations will be in stores in June (e.g. the 38mm Classic Band and blue 38mm Sport), but not all. If other products are any indication, long term the stores will stock the more popular versions once supply meets demand, but some of the less common combinations will be online only, except for the larger flagship stores.

My order for a 42mm Space Grey Sport placed on 25th April has finally updated from a vague shipping date of "June" to a more accurate but slightly disappointing "5-6 weeks (22nd to 29th June)" - I was really hoping for early June rather than the last week of June.

I'll be upset if they are in the stores before my online order arrives...

I ordered 30th and have the same. Ordered same Watch. Was hoping the same as you but maybe a positive that can be taken from this is that orders 5 days between each other are being lumped together now. Maybe this means less orders = quicker delivery (hope that makes sense). I'm in the UK, by the way. Are you the same?

Perhaps they should fulfill the pre-orders first...?

I ordered on April 10th and still don't have mine. May 29th - June 11th delivery.

If they show up for sale in stores in June, wtf was the point of even pre-ordering??

This whole thing is just stupid and irritating.

Have they missed a specified shipping window yet? The rage confuses me. If they promised a Watch on a date and didn't deliver it, then I understand the rage. Otherwise, this just comes down to how fast they can make them. And they obviously can't make them fast enough right now.

Why on earth did they offer preorder date then? I ordered one of mine on 4/13/15 and it will ship by the end of June.

Still waiting for mine

Im up to 5 weeks now and still no sign of it. Standard black sports watch. So I don't know where these "early deliveries" are.

If they go on sale in June it means they have been screwing over their preorder crowd by holding stock back and making them wait longer so they can get them in stores.

This entire Apple Watch rollout has been a complete disaster. Come on Angela you can do better than this.

However I am waiting anxiously for my watch, even if I have to wait two months for delivery.

Sorry Apple, you should fulfil all your pre-orders first, early if possible

Currently orders are quoted as 5-7 weeks for the watch , that makes it around 3rd week of June as the earliest

My order (mid april) is supposed to be delivered end of June, which after the dates you're currently quoting for the watch model I ordered

very poor showing if pre-orders and existing orders are not going to be delivered before the stores get them

And i will be getting it same time as you when i walk in the store:cool:
