If Facetime is the only thing that comes to your limited mind, when you read the word camera, then I am happy that you're not a part of Apple's engineering team.

I am talking about a camera either in a band or on the top edge of the watch, that would allow to take pictures and videos without iPhone. This was requested by customers since the introduction of the first Apple Watch. See Wristcam prototype and many others.
😄 That's a terrible design.

This set up looks terrible to me. Then I would rather have something like the insta360 Go 3S, but with nice integration to the apple watch and using the same charging puck (i.e. the watch basically replacing the stuff the Action Pod does). Why does the camera need to be attached to the watch(band)?

Wow. Crazy to see that it's been 10 years since the first AW. I had an AW2 and then sold it after some months. I went back to traditional watches since then. But a month ago I bought the AW Series 9 and its quite nice.

Time sure flies!
When I saw this thread, it actually made me pause. My mind (still) can't wrap my head around how fast 10 years flew by.

The watch was exciting...still have it. I was able to replace the battery in it thanks to YouTube tutorials. I'll still wear it from time to time...even though it's extremely sluggish.

Even the iPhone 6 Plus, that will be 10 years ago in a few weeks. THAT release, I was extremely excited for the large iPhone at the time.
