Well Apple, it may be a good idea to not use the same design for three years in a row.

Smart Phone design is pretty much set in stone just like laptops, if manufacturers are changing phone design those are just gimmicks to attract customers, just like laptops with touch screens (I am sure plenty of people here love laptops with touch screens). I think it is time to focus on features now.
I have asked all my friends who have touchscreen laptop at work & none of them said they would miss it if it is gone.

Doesn't really seem like Microsoft sacrificed anything. They went after profits and then went after the vision, using the money in the bank Ballmer got for them. The difference with apple is they are going after both.
