What about apple privacy engagement if Google assistant or Alexa is installed on iPhone ?
Good question. I’d guess that there would be a disclaimer when switching away from Siri that you’re agreeing to the third party terms and conditions, which are likely less privacy-focused.

My goodness.. I thought I'd seen it all on here.

If you don't want to use an assistant other than Siri, this will not impact you in one single way at all.

And still complaints about customers having more choices to better suit their preferences?

What is wrong with everyone?

Next the EU will demand Apple allow Android apps to run on iPhones, and iPhones to run Android.
Can't these over regulated Europeans just buy an Android phone if that's what they want?

Maybe Apple should allow to removing iOS from iPhone in EU. Maximal freedom — anyone can then install whatever they want on it.

It would likely be quite useless, but could finally satisfy the endless legal jungle.

Maybe Epic could have Fortnite running on SweeneyOS :)

That would actually be quite nice, a device that is mine, and I can decide when Apple’s pettiness is enough and use AOSP instead.

It would, however, not solve the legal jungle, because iOS would still be widely used, and together with Android hold significant market power.

Great! Unlike Siri, Google Assistant at least supports the Polish language.
Most US user here probably aren't even aware that a lot of European users don't have the possibility of using Siri.
I for one welcome the possibility of having an assistant in my native language.
If Apple doesn't want to provide it then... Well let's see what Google has to offer.
