So Apple did nothing except air it on their streaming channel and now they are claiming it is 'their' win, typical Apple.

Well, if it was so easy to buy your way into the Oscars, Netflix and Amazon would have had an entire shelf of trophies by now. But as it turns out, burning 1 billion in cash still isn’t any guarantee that you know what you are doing.

Credit where credit is due, Apple seems to be very disciplined with how they spend their cash.

I do not see any other money backers being directly praised for the person/film they backed winning an Oscar so why should Apple come in for the praise?
