IMHO, it is the broadcast group. Horrible. There is a reason folks go to sport bars to watch. So they don't have to listen to the god awful broadcasters!

Oh yeah they are. Of course this all a matter of opinion. I like Aikman, Buck on the other hand. That guy, I want to reach through the TV! Simms kills me every dang time. So freaking dry! LOL
Ha,, I know a lot of folks didn't like him, but I liked John Madden lol..... Entertaining.
Gus, Mr. March Madness.... He I like!!! I hope I am thinking of the right person.
Yeah, he is one of the best March Madness announcers ever. As for Madden, he may not be a sharp guy, but he certainly was entertaining.
I completely agree with he was entertaining! Oh yeah, ok, I just googled Gus, yeah that was the guy I was thinking of. He is super good!
That would be a bridge too far for the NFL. Their worst nightmare is people realizing there are a hundred better things to do on a Sunday afternoon than watch football.
Like you I watch the home town team. I used to watch every game start to finish, even going to two or three myself. Then I stopped going when it dawned on me that the stadium experience kinda sucks. Then I started just watching the second half as that's was all that mattered, then the fourth quarter as that was all that really mattered. I'm at the point where I pretty much skip the regular season and pick them up in the playoffs. If they don't make the playoffs my Sundays are that much freer.
