Insert “that’s what she said” gif hereDamn... too small.
12" and 14" would've been perfect.
I believe so. I still believe 2023 will be a big year for the iPads. In 2022 It was more of a "S" year for the iPads. Rest assured, it will be worth upgrading next yearThe usual spacing between releases is about 18 months, so I think 2024 is more likely, right?
Good to see that you're multitasking @philcourage. 😉Imagine how much better browsing MacRumors on the toilet will be with a screen like that. Just wonderful.
7 year run with the same iPad. Nice. you’ve definitely gotten your use out of it. I’ve still got a 2020 and I’ve been itching to upgrade but I’m gonna try and be patient until 2024. The longer you wait, the more of an upgrade it feels likeCan't wait to upgrade from my 2017 A10 Fusion 12.9 iPad Pro to my 2024 M4 13 inch iPad Pro with Magic keyboard. No stylus or cellular this time and will be going with 512 GBs of storage.
Are people really not simply…downloading a calculator app from the App Store? I did the day I got my iPad and haven’t thought about it since. PCalc is better than anything Apple would have put out anywayAh yes exactly what the iPad needs; 1/10 inch bigger screen and maybe the 13th and 14th different resolution targets for developers.
Not like it’s been 11 years and we still don’t have a calculator app or the ability to add our own music to the music library.
I’m petty tho! I want a stock calculator app from Apple. 😒Are people really not simply…downloading a calculator app from the App Store? I did the day I got my iPad and haven’t thought about it since. PCalc is better than anything Apple would have put out anyway
The point is we should not have to.Are people really not simply…downloading a calculator app from the App Store? I did the day I got my iPad and haven’t thought about it since. PCalc is better than anything Apple would have put out anyway
Just get TwinCalc. Best one out there.I’m petty tho! I want a stock calculator app from Apple. 😒
The current iPad Pro/Macbook Pro 14/16 display:
SDR brightness: 600 nits max (typical)
Agreed, but I wish they'd go a little bit further. 11" to 11.1", assuming aspect ratio remains the same, is only a 1.83% increase in screen real estate. Nothing to write home about.Slightly larger display without increasing overall size will be great!!
yeah I really would prefer 14” because the bigger the better! I will settle with 13” though. just excited to finally upgrade my 2018 12.9”.14" iPad would have been ideal however 13" is acceptable. My fingers are crossed that they are released in 2023, not 2024.
Would OLED able to get over 1000 nits?It will not get as bright, but you will also not have any of the backlight blooming we see now since OLED is self-emissive (so no backlights).
And depending on the OLED tech, they could hit higher nit levels even if not as high as Mini-LED.
I had the 2nd gen iPad Pro and went to the M1 MacBook Air + iPad Mini 6 combo. No regrets.I don't use my iPad Pro as much as I thought I would when I bought it. It might change.
Sure. There is a non-zero chance. Is that enough for you?Any chance we will see Final Cut Pro on these lovely OLED displays?
