Apple appears to be working on new Beats Fit Pro colors, according to images discovered by @Aaronp613 on Twitter. The yet-to-be released shades include Mica, Ochre, and Umbra, and they may be modeled after skin tones.

Introduced in November, the Beats Fit Pro are fitness-focused earbuds with flexible wingtips that help secure them in the ear. At the current time, Beats Fit Pro come in Black, White, Stone Purple, and Sage Gray, and it is not clear when Apple might introduce the new colors.

Beats Fit Pro are priced at $200 and offer Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes, along with Adaptive EQ, spatial audio support, and an H1 chip for fast pairing, automatic device switching with Apple products, and Find My integration.

I have both these and air pods pro and the like these much better.

I purchased Beats Fit Pro when they debuted and would definitely purchase them again in the Umber color for the nude look.

Plus I prefer the BFPs over the APPs.
What is it about the beats Pro that you like better? Genuinely wondering if I ever do jump into buying premium Bluetooth headphones. (I do active sport activities things from time to time, but also want something that I can use at work that quickly and easily connects to iPhone for phone calls and music that sounds really good.)

For me it’s the slight punchier sound that the BFP had compared to the slightly canned sound with APP. Coming from the first AirPods, getting the APPs was a game changer. I felt the same way after purchasing BFPs.

The wingtips are also a huge selling point for the BFPs. Unlike APP, the wingtips on BFP provide a secure fit, seal for sound and don’t need readjusting. Only three times have I had to readjust them while on a longer run because I was sweaty and it was humid.

ANC works great and they connect fast.
Case is smaller than the Powerbeats Pro case as well which I had before the BFPs.

I bought BFP and APP at the same time, and returned the APP.
The BFP are more secure for activities, and I much prefer to tap the BFP than squeeze the stem on the APP.
The APP had an issue (reported by many) of the battery in the case draining while apparently doing nothing.
The BFP has just as good integration with Apple products as the APP.
IMO the BFP is a better product than the APP, except for the plasticky case. But who cares about the case (much).

btw, anyone using these for intense outdoor activities (I do mountain biking), don't get one of these colors. Get the Stone Purple (pink) ones. Much easier to find if/when one falls out of your ear. Sucks to lose a $200 earbud. I almost lost a gray one: took me an hour to find, it was so perfectly camouflaged in the gravel and dirt (even using the Find My feature).

I like the longer battery life with all the other AirPods Pro features. I would probably switch to these if only they came with wireless charging.

There is ZERO bass in the AirPods Pro. To the point familiar songs sound different. The voice tho is so clear, like woah.

Beats have more low end and way more secure in ear.

The case is trash, but I don't think that takes away from the sound quality improvements.

I never bought AirPods of any kind. Every time I see them (including on my own kids), I can't help but think of attaching jumper cables to those ridiculous stems and zapping the person.

I just recently got the Beats Fit Pro (you must excuse me for not using acronyms like APP, BFP, AP3, IwannagoPP, etc because I'm not a physician). Love them.

I have both and also prefer Beats. They simply stay in better for me and the battery life is better.

TBH, ICWYM. YMMV, but IMHO the acronyms are really helpful.

🤪

I’m actually really stoked they are offering some colors that are not bright commercials in my ears.

The white is classic Apple, sure, but jeez, not even black is offered to be low-key.

(Thinking of AirPods, here… maybe AirPods one day can have some different colors)

I know this is about new colors but there is a number of good replies about fit.

i have the air pod pros. they do not fit great. Almost never pass the sound isolation test. they feel good though. I am a large guy (right at 6’6” and around 270lbs) with larger ear canals as you would expect.

Anyone a large guy that can comment on the fit of the beats??? I wouldn’t mind slightly better sound quality and physical noise cancellation.

What are the A.P.P. features that Beats doesn’t have?
Other than the wireless charging of the case, I don't think there are any. The case battery last a fairly long time (like a week), so this is not as big a deal as for phone charging.
Otherwise, it is mainly personal preference of sound, fit and feel.

The wingtips tend to (gently) press the earbuds in place. But this greatly depends on your ear shape. I used to have other earbuds that hermetically sealed in place and thus had great sound quality, but were thus uncomfortable and I could not stand them after an hour. So I think there is a compromise between comfort and sealing. You really need to try them for yourself to see if it is the right compromise for you. 14 day return period if purchased from Apple.

What are the A.P.P. features that Beats doesn’t have?

After trying the Beats a while back, these were the biggest advantages of the APP for me:

- APP has a smaller case that fits in your coin pocket
- The Beats has no MagSafe, not even regular wireless changing
- The Beats use USB-C, which means I need a different cable than the iPhone
- The squeeze stem on the APP (which feels much more solid and less prone to moving the earbud around)
- The mic quality on calls and transparency mode on the APP sounds a tad clearer
- I prefer the more neutral sound of the APP
- More options in FindMy for APP iirc
- The wingtips made my ears itchy on hot days which was ultimately why (in addition to the lack of wireless charging) I didn't keep the Beats around.

I just don’t see them being as secure as the Powerbeats Pro. Or rather as foolproof. Would like that ANC for a workout pair though…
