I wish Apple would do something like this. The battery life on these beats and airpods are terrible.

I'd rather have ear-pods (whatever make/brand) that I can put my own colours and designs onto. (Given my severe lack of artistic talent, I might get someone else to do it for me!)

I don't want a colour that is neither my skin colour nor plain white. If we are moving from white, let us have freedom.

Anyone know of a suitable paint which is both ear-safe and ear-bud-safe? And is readily removable?

(I'm aware that silicone, if that is part of the substrate, is difficult to paint satisfactorily. So I'm not actually expecting a serious suggestion.)

Anyone know if the BFP, or other noise cancelling earbuds for that matter, have the crackling issues that the APP do? I've had my APP replaced twice, but the issue has come up again and Apple won't replace them again because I've already done it once under the service program they started last fall. They told me I can replace them at a slight discount over buying a new set, but why do that if the same problem will rear its ugly head after another few months again? So I'm thinking about just picking up the BFP instead. I would miss the small APP case and the wireless charging.

I know this is about new colors but there is a number of good replies about fit.

i have the air pod pros. they do not fit great. Almost never pass the sound isolation test. they feel good though. I am a large guy (right at 6’6” and around 270lbs) with larger ear canals as you would expect.

Anyone a large guy that can comment on the fit of the beats??? I wouldn’t mind slightly better sound quality and physical noise cancellation.
I'm 6'3" 200 and have love the fit. They fit better than my APP. I forget I am wearing them.

After trying the Beats a while back, these were the biggest advantages of the APP for me:

- The squeeze stem on the APP (which feels much more solid and less prone to moving the earbud around)
I am very surprised by this one... I find the exact opposite. Finding the flat part of the stem and trying to click it has a significant chance of moving the AirPod around - particularly, but not only, if the shape of your ear means the stems tend to point in. I have read many comments criticising precisely this for the APP and AP3. However, the push button on the Beats is supremely accessible for all and can, if anything, only serve to push the Beats further into your ear rather than dislodge them.

I would have bought the middle one to match my complexion had it been available.

they are making them in emoji skin colors....where is the simpsons yellow color?

What is it about the beats Pro that you like better? Genuinely wondering if I ever do jump into buying premium Bluetooth headphones. (I do active sport activities things from time to time, but also want something that I can use at work that quickly and easily connects to iPhone for phone calls and music that sounds really good.)
If using while working out, these stay in your ears way better than the airpod pros do. Not to mention (at least for me) these are more comfortable to wear for longer periods in-ear, the AirPods hurt my ears after wearing for a while.

I just don’t see them being as secure as the Powerbeats Pro. Or rather as foolproof. Would like that ANC for a workout pair though…
The only earbuds I've ever liked and been able to wear without falling out are PB Pro- why on earth won't they release an updated version- mine are losing charge and the AP Pro fall out of my ears as soon as I lean over to pick something up. I've tried the different silicon tips- and would never trust any of these during a jog or other place where they'd get lost.

I wish they would improve the case a bit. Besides it not having wireless charging ( which feels like a bigger omission than you’d think after you shell out $200), the case feels really cheap.

For people saying they wear these all day and they’re more comfortable than wearing air pods pros all day - do these actually sit securely in your ear? It seems odd because the way these function is by having the wingtip press into your ear hard enough that they don’t move. I couldn’t ever wear them for more than 2 hours without feeling discomfort ( meanwhile I routinely wear my Pros for my entire workday or until the battery dies and I have to switch ears).

The only way I can imagine wearing these a whole day without discomfort is if the shape of your ear is such that the wingtip is barely pressing into it. But at that point, you’d think they’re also not doing their job of staying put since that’s completely dependent on the wingtip pressing against your ear.

My favorite wireless in ear headphones are the PowerBeats Pros. I am very active & prefer the around the ear design. Maybe I have freak ears, but the pod style never stay in mine. I also prefer the Power Beat Pros because unlike the smaller in ear style, they have physical buttons that make it easier to pause, skip & raise or lower the volume. Their larger size also gives them a much bigger & longer battery life. I really hope they don’t discontinue this model.
