Apple is working on new Beats Studio Pro headphones, according to code found in the macOS Ventura 13.4 release candidate.

The headphones appear to have an A2924 model number, which is different from the model numbers for the upcoming Beats Studio Buds+ earphones. The Beats Studio Pro name was found by @Aaronp613.

Based on the name, the Beats Studio Pro will be a new version of the current Beats Studio3 headphones. The Beats Studio3 are several years old at this point, and there have been no new Beats-branded over-ear headphones launched since 2017.

Apple appears to be developing the Beats Studio Pro headphones in collaboration with Samuel Ross of A-Cold-Wall. The design looks to be largely identical to the Beats Studio3 headphones, but Apple will likely add internal improvements to justify the "Pro" moniker.

There could be an updated Apple-designed chip, as the Studio3 continue to use the old W1 chip, along with improved Active Noise Cancellation and the addition of a Transparency Mode. Apple also plans to add "Hey Siri" support, a feature that is not available in the current Studio3 headphones. The new Beats Studio Pro headphones will likely see a launch later in the year as new Beats often show up in iOS and macOS weeks or months ahead of launch.

God I hope so. We need it. The Max as it stands right now is loaded with issues.
I just hope they can make it a bit lighter. I had to return mine because they were literally unusable unless I sat still. Trying to use them while performing any activity would mean they would go flying off my head if I leaned too far forward or back.

Maybe the new Beats will be better for someone who is active while using them.

Weight isn't so much the issue it's the bands. They won't move off the head if we had more band customization to help fit unique head shapes

But my main issues with the AirPods Max is the lack of a power button, the lack of an aux mode, and the lack of lossless hifi. If they had all three of those than the price tag on them would be justified.

Beats Studio3 - My fav wireless over-ear headphones due to their low profile on my massive heeeed!

Sound is good for D&B + Hip-Hop and the noise cancellation is plenty good enough. Battery standby time has been stellar for me. Really dig the colour scheme of the midnight black model I currently own. Will def try an updated set.

I had a feeling these would be coming soon lol. just bought my partner green APM’s which are definitely better then these new Beats.

if they were redesigned I might have considered exchanging.

AirPods Max 2 next?!👀

Hope the faux or real leather doesn't fall apart after a while. I took my Beats out of storage last month and the material crumbled in my hands.

the sound of Beats headphones has improved significantly since Apple owned the company. Now with Apple chip inside the user experience is also better. I love Beats Studio design so I can’t wait to see this new Pro model.
Looks about the same, with some slightly redesigned cushions.

People may disagree vehemently, but I still think the AirPods Max is one of the best headphones on the market, at least for me. They fit securely around my ears and have some of the best ANC in headphones. I can also wear them for hours and hours, and I don't have any discomfort when I wear them. They are like a pair of earmuffs. It's great!

I was hoping second generation APM's was going to be included in this article. I'm looking to buy a pair, but I'm trying to hold out till gen 2.

AirPods Max gave me a terrible headache. I'd love some H3 equipped headphones that are as good as Sony WH1000XM4s. As light as well please.

I have the Beats Studio 3 "Pro", and I've been pretty disappointed with them. For their hulking size, the battery life is so-so. The sound is so-so. The ANC is poor. For the price, I expected a lot better.
