And why should this matter?
You're stupidAmerican, right? I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure I am right. Does it sound better when it gets turned back on you?
It may be the last day YOU can buy it unless you're assuming everyone in the world bought it the same day you did then they stopped selling them!I think today is the last day you can buy it.
Yea, you're right. Sometimes some of these "innocent" comments make you wonder.Hey guys,
Let's play nice and refrain from personal attacks. Might be in the FAQ/Rules some place....
Be aware: you have 30 days to buy it.
Yesterday (4/15), I called the Apple store to inquire about getting an appointment to have mine looked at for approval to buy Applecare (I bought the iPad at Best Buy). I told the phone person I bought it on 3/16; she told me TODAY would be the last day I could buy it and she scheduled a Genius bar appointment for me.
Today, I was told I was NOT eligible. Turns out 3/16 - 4/16 is 31 days, not 30.
I told them their person had told me today would be OK (had the call in my Recents list on my iPhone). She checked in the back, and then came out to tell me that they were going to take care of me since I had been given incorrect information.
They had to fiddle with the system and ended up having to enter a return and then re-sell back to me to allow them to add the Applecare+. I now have it and feel better (I also have children in my house).
I love Apple Customer Service.

Just got the Applecare plus for my new iPad.
Have one question...is the warranty status webpage normally updated right away? Mine still shows 90 days of phone service and normal one year hardware support dates.
And my receipt from the Apple Store just shows the AC+ product number but not my iPad's serial number. I kinda thinking that the clerk made a mistake. I also recently got an Applecare for my MacBook Pro and that receipt is showing both the product number for the Applecare and serial number of my MBP.
If it helps, I bought it this evening...about 5 hours ago...
