Any Software discounts .........

Because a lot of people want to know whether to wait & visit Apple for a purchase, or act on getting a better price elsewhere. We appreciate knowing ahead of time what to expect when there is limited time to act on it.

I've waited MONTHS to know whether to wait for Black Friday to double up the discounted price with an edu discount. Only now do I find out discount stacking is not allowed, and from what I'm finding from this big news story around the web is the BF discount plus edu discount wouldn't add up to anything meaningful even if stacking were allowed.

Not everyone knows Apple's patterns, and Apple has habit of changing patterns on a dime.

Does Apple traditionally put software on sale on black Friday? I am looking to buy Microsoft Office since I upgraded to Lion (I think the $279 for the business version is way to much)

"Apple" and "savings" go together like mustard and cake.

But this is normal & better than nothing.

Lame. With all their incredible profit margins and cash reserves, this is their incredible sale? For heavens sake, Best Try is selling the 13" 256GB MBA for 200.00 off.

The purpose of the cash reserves is not to sell to you below cost.

Wow - what an amazing deal!

An iMac for just $1098 + tax! That's only $70 more than I paid for mine last month from Amazon (after I got back 3% from using my Amazon card). I also found an AppleCare Plan for about 50% less than Apple offers.

But yeah! Everyone run out to your local Apple store, waste time and gas, fight with crowds, so you can pay more for products that you can buy from online retailers!

Sales are something Apple never got right.

$101 discount on a $1500 machine? C'mon dude.....
