USB-A is an obsolete port that has been replaced by USB-C for a few years already.

Only in Apple land.

Every other computer manufacturer still includes USB-A ports on their machines.

I know some of us who have mostly Apple stuff are sort of in a bubble, but come on. Look around sometime; USB-A ports are everywhere.

You're not going to be able to charge your iPhone on the plane if you only have a lightning to USB-C cable on you.

Charge you an arm and a leg but they can’t even include an iPad charger

I don’t mind having a slower charger included as standar, as the normal charge cycle happens overnight and the slower you charge the better the charge. That still holds true for lipos too up to a certain point. The bummer is that any extra charger to fast charge from Apple is overpriced. Thank goodness for Anker.
Is that still true 12-18 months after using the phone? I've usually needed to charge by late afternoon by then and a slow charger doesn't cut it. Not seeing an upside at this price point for including the slow charger over the life of the phone anyway.
